20 parks so far this year and this is the nicest one so far. Paid a bit more, but for the price, it's still a great park. We were in town for a wedding and it was great to be close to everything, yet it felt like we were nowhere near town. The sites are quite large and don't give you that cramped feeling. We were originally assigned to 40 but the previous campers had transmission troubles and the park called me ahead of time to ask if I would mind changing my reservation to site 42. Turns out, I think I liked 42 as it had a good view of the golf course and of the mountains. The website does have a warning about stray balls coming into 39- 40. Never saw a ball the whole week and it was busy. Pinedale changed the location of their fireworks and this year they were launched from the field (owned by the RV Park) right next to the park. We had front row seats. I don't imagine this is permanent. From what I was told by local friends, Yellowstone Trail owners plan to expand, as they should. The park is clean, very well groomed, though I hope they stake some of the healthy young trees that the Wyoming wind has put into a 45 degree angle. Something unique that I did not know or see on their web site, is that you can have a portable hot tub placed at your site. Genius idea. I don't know for a fact but it appeared as though they have some ebikes for rent as well. One thing I hope they do different in the expansion (assuming there is one in the works), wider pad of gravel or a longer concrete patio that reaches the steps of a 5th wheel. The patios in the big rig area are located perfectly for a diesel pusher but us 5ers gotta get our feet wet every morning. The picnic tables are great and the fire pits are nice and they could be used as a grill as well. Carefully with your GPS. It might take you down the wrong street and you will end up at the golf course. Turn by the hotel and you will drive right into the park entrance. Take a drive to Granite Hot Springs, the scenery is amazing. Take a drive up Freemont Lake road. Go all the way to the top. More awesome scenery. Hope to be back at Yellowstone Trail again real soon.

It’s hardly necessary to write another very favorable review of this outstanding RV park to add to dozens of others, but our experience nevertheless merits the most direct reward we can provide: YTRP is among the Top 5 of all RV parks, both commercial and military, that we have visited across the United States in the last 6 years from Maine to California to the Straits of San Juan de Fuca. It is beautifully designed from the ground up and flawlessly constructed. Access is easy, roads within the park are smooth asphalt and roomy; pads are large, level, and graded, compacted gravel (helping drainage); utilities are perfectly spotted, to include below ground water connections to obviate freezing; and the meticulously maintained grounds include luxurious green grass with trimmed borders around every pad and perfectly sited young deciduous trees (aspens?) that will provide abundant shade and color when they mature. But what is truly awe-inspiring are the restrooms and showers, which are so large, clean and ordered that they actually sparkle. We have never encountered such cleanliness in dozens of RV parks, and they even exceed standards you would expect in almost all hotels. Amazing. Topping all of this obvious attention to beauty and design is the warm and gracious TLC exhibited by all the staff before, during, and even after our stay. Telephone calls were promptly returned, all our questions were answered, and the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. Five stars only begins to describe our stay at this beautiful park so close to Teton and Yellowstone, especially in relation to almost other parks we have visited. Congratulations to the owners and staff for providing us such a truly memorable visit.

This small RV campground is the thing RV life dreams are made of. It’s beyond well kept, with friendly staff, clean facilities, big rig friendly and special services like hot tub rentals and firewood delivered to your site. Laundry room has 5 coin op washer and dryers and enough room to get in and load up without bumping into walls. There is a basketball and pickleball court and wide paved drive around make it great for bike rides for small kids. The campground abuts a large field next to a community sport complex and short walking trail. Plenty of space to walk dogs and get a morning walk in. The town of Pinedale is small and charming with great local eateries and shops. Friendly town people who at the end of August may have felt done with tourists but didn’t act like it. We visited over Labor Day weekend and the park was full but it wasn’t too noisy or so bustling that you couldn’t hear yourself think. This is a pleasant oasis in a rural area and we will definitely be back!

Very nice stop to wiggle between dry camping. We liked the self registration, which was fast and easy. I think because we booked and arrived the same day we never received the check in packaging that I would see on other sites awaiting new check ins....I am guessing because of that we were not aware of the availability of the hot tub deliveries options I am reading about in reviews....which is too bad because we would have really enjoyed that option. Laundry machines were great and clean. The only major complaint is how slippery the shower floors are. They are smooth with high polish. A wood mat is available in each shower, but in busy times or when there is a lot of steam, the entire floor outside the showers becomes wet and slick. Despite having shower shoes on the floor, it was like an ice rink! This was by far the slickest shower house floor I have ever been in out of all the campgrounds we have visited across the country. I spoke with a staffer in the bathroom and she said they were aware of the dlick floor problem and that is why they "leave a wet floor sign up all the time" and they were tryong to figure out a solution. A high-powered floor fan and a rubber anti slip runner in front of the showers would be two fast and easy options. On a positive note, this was by far the cleanest campground bathroom we have ever visited....and that is why I rated 5/5 instead of 4/5 for the super...
