We reserved a cabin here for 2 weeks, 9 months prior to our arrival date. Two days before we were supposed to leave our home we got a call from Pinedale Cozy Cabins stating that they were going to need our cabin for five days of our stay. I told them that was not possible because our schedule and time off work was set. The owner then called me and said they had booked us, but had accidentally taken a reservation for a wedding party for some of the same dates. She offered to extend our stay 5 days instead, which also was not possible for us. She said she could refund us for the five days or cancel our reservation altogether! Keep in mind this is at peak tourist season. I asked them to find us a comparable place to stay which she said she could not. We then got an Airbnb and had to pay for the five days ourselves. She refunded our five days that she canceled but the new place was $250 more than what we were paying her. I asked her to reimburse us the $250 and she refused. We were left high and dry even though we had paid our deposit 9 months earlier. If we had booked this through Airbnb instead of directly with her, Airbnb would take her off the platform. This was inexcusable. While we liked the cabins very much for the remainder of our stay (minus the 5 days),we will not book there again because of this experience.|On the plus side, we never saw the owner, but the girls that worked there cleaning the cabins were...
Read morePinedale Cozy Cabins was well laid out and centrally located in Pinedale, Wyoming. The cabin we stayed in was clean, and had numerous thoughtful amenities for us to use while on vacation.
The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped, and it was a plus to access to our own washer and dryer in the cabin at any time.
The park across the street had a nice walking path for my husband's early morning walks We were able to explore both GTNP and YNP, as well as some local hiking trails near the cabins on this trip.
Our hostess, Nora, was wonderful. She provided us with some information about local hikes nearby as well as sending one of her employees to our cabin the first night when we had some difficulty in connecting to the wifi. (Thank you so much Karla!)
I highly recommend staying in Pinedale Cozy Cabins if you are planning to visit West Central Wyoming. We would stay at the Cozy Cabins again in...
Read moreThe minute we walked in the door of this place, we wished we could stay for two weeks instead of two days! It is beautifully furnished to the highest quality, incredibly *clean, and well equipped with everything you could need in your "home from home". The cabins, which included a warm and personal welcome note on arrival, are easy to access in a quiet, peaceful compound across from a lovely park.
The beds made us feel like we were sleeping on clouds, and it was a pleasure to come "home" to this after a long day of touring the beautiful Wyoming countryside. We can hardly wait to come back! *I dropped an earring that rolled far under the bed and when I went to retrieve it I saw not a single dust bunny; everything seems new and gleaming, from...
