I have shopped at this place many times and gotten neat items in the past. The workers are usually Pleasant and good prices. Today, I took my son in that was looking for a chair. He found one he was interested in but we needed to measure first. I told them in the front that we were interested. The older lady was kind of rude when we asked about the damage, but the younger lady offered a discount. the older lady told us we could prepay and get it later, but we still needed to measure so we didnāt prepay.
When my husband took my son back later to pay for it and pick it up they talked to the same older lady who acted like she didnāt remember what chair we were talking about or the discount but somehow perked up and immediately said that we hadnāt paid for it earlier as if we were stealing. the whole reason they stopped at the front was to pay for it, Iām not sure who goes to checkout to announce that theyāre stealing⦠My husband also parked in front of the furniture door and asked if that door opened because it would be much easier that way but they didnāt offer to help, so my husband and son had to carry the chair all the way to the checkout. After we paid for it, my husband was so ready to get out of there he didnāt bother to ask for the discount because they were just over it at that point.
I personally hate this because part of the fun of going to flea market is to find a treasure at a good price and if somebody is going to treat my family like weāre trying to steal and be unfriendly for standing in the checkout line and asking about a chair Iād rather go to the box store and buy new items. Better yet get it delivered. My son was excited to get the chair but this took all the joy out of it. I probably will not return unless there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely love this place whoever came up with that idea, at this particular location, is a very smart lady. I am referring to them as a female, because we always have the best ideas. No seriously, the people there or some of the best kind hearted, easy-going, all-around good people. With the number of vendorās booths, the place stays remarkably well put together, and as clean as it could possibly be, given the fact of how many people in the constant in and out traffic. There are so many things that or available location. I went two days in a row, and didnāt make it through every booth. Thereās something for everybody. I literally wanna go every day just to see all the new items that have arrived, plus try and get a good look at whatever it was that I let slip on me during my previous visit. Think about it. When speaking in reference to shopping, can you think of any place thatās as cool or more fun and efficient than somewhere with approximately 50 mini stores that are all ran by different people, and are all in one contained area! So thereās no doubt in you knowing thereās a smorgasbord of items. itās definitely my favorite place to go, mommy, and the best idea anyone has made happen in Cenla. Did I mention: theyāre open at least until dark everyday! (unlike every other place in this town where they lock the doors on ya before you get a chance to get off work or out of church. And to put the cherry on top, Iām pretty sure they donāt even close for lunch. The prices are ridiculous⦠whatās not to love? If you want it, and itās not in that building, I can almost assure that it doesnāt exist. Donāt believe me? See for yourself. And if Iām wrong, tell me, Iāll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will say out of a lot of the flea markets around here, I feel like the ladies here have a handle on their people and their pricing. Some of these other flea markets you go into them, and come back the next month and it's the same stuff. They just asked too much for junk. I highly recommend you visit this one first...
