Leonz House of Steak and Subs — Local services in Pineville

While visiting Pineville Kentucky, my wife and I found this nice little restaurant right off the square. The food and music was really good and after the meal the owner, Scottie, came out and talked with us. We told him our last name and he told us he was kin to Greg Page, who was one of the 1st two African American players signed to play football for The University of Kentucky! Also, Scottie, himself was inducted into the Middlesboro Sports Hall of Fame for basketball wrestling and track! He didn’t mention it to us. We happened to see a plaque with his picture on the wall in the upstairs VIP lounge. This place had a vibe that was unique and unforgettable. Very low lighting. We could hear music while we were out walking so we followed our ears and this is where we ended up. The song we could hear was “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Percy Sledge. Truly an unforgettable experience! We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone! By the way our waiter "Aaron" was really nice...

The food is outstanding. The service was also above the rest. Leon the owner was very attentive the entire time. Great atmosphere. Feels like home.

It was my fiance's first time. She ordered the cheeseburger and fries. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and fries.

She said it's the best cheese burger she has ever had. The fries were seasoned and didn't need anything added. My Philly Cheese Steak was one of the best I've had. I've had them in NY, yes Philly, Boston, Connecticut... Five stars all the way.

I've had the Catfish dinner in the past also. Top of the line, breaded well and the fish was flakey...

Randomly ran into Leonz in Pineville. It doesn't look like much on the outside. The inside is small but cozy, and they have seating upstairs. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. I had the cheeseburger and steak fries. It was juicie and delicious, the fries were crispy and hot. My companion had the grilled shrimp skewers dinner with mac and cheese and a salad. He also had the 1 piece catfish. Everything was delicious. He said it was the best catfish he's ever eaten. We will definitely be back, and will try the Lafollette,TN location. We were hungry, so we didnt...
