Do they have 5 star reviews because people don’t notice they are being scammed? They LIED about an appliance being broken, and disappointed in the HIGH PRICES: they tried to charge me $665 to replace a broken garbage disposal (insinkerator). The exact unit itself only costs $96 on Amazon, so I sent the plumber away because of the insane price. I just bought the unit myself, and before I was about to self install it my Dad checked out the issue and there was NOTHING WRONG it was just JAMMED WITH A SODA CAP and didn’t even need to be replaced! When I choose maintenance companies I like fair prices and honest work and this was a major turn off. My Dad is a handyman and said their price was highway robbery and they were just trying to charge me for a new one by saying it was broken, scary! They could have just simply unclogged the block for me. I’m very disappointed, as I was in the middle of selling my house when this happened and their scamming and lies added to an already stressful time when they could have just easily unclogged the block. A dishonest company.
EDIT: the guy responding is dishonest again, the plumber was going to replace the exact same unit model I had in there which was only $96, there is no exuberantly priced garbage disposal. $665 vs $96 is a big difference. Also that means you are admitting you wanted me to pay a lot more than what a standard one would cost? Why would you want your customer to pay almost $700 for a $100 unit? Maybe add in an extra $200 for the 15 minute install but anything after that is a rip off. $700 for a simple garbage disposal is INSANE, I feel bad for your...
Read moreI’ve used Vinci Plumbing several times. The thing I like most about the business is how well-run it is. Using them is hassle-free.
Someone always picks up the phone, they always show up to your house on time, and payment/invoicing is electronic and easy. I also like that they send you the professional bio and a picture of the plumber coming to your home so you know what to expect.
I’ve hired Vinci to do both small jobs and large jobs and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work. Pricing is consistent, and I have come to trust them. Once, one of the projects I hired them to do had to be adjusted, and they came back and made the alterations for free, even though they had technically completed the original job as-asked.
Finally, I like that they always send the same plumber to my house. Pedro always does a great job, and I always know what to expect because of that consistency. One small thing I like about Pedro is that he always takes off or covers his shoes without me having to ask; it demonstrates his respect for your home.
Ultimately, the professionalism and reliability of both Pedro and the business as a whole is why I always hire Vinci. You always know that the job will be done well, on-time, and at a...
Read moreHired Vinci plumbing for washer-dryer hookup installation, they did plumbing rough & filed for permit, a week later township informed them that their application was incomplete as it needed electric & building permit applications too. Vinci never informed me about this & tried to cover it up. A month later I found from township Vinci had withdrawn the application saying they are not doing the job. This is after doing work & receiving full payment for it. After this they gave another quote for putting new electrical outlet & submitting all the applications. I informed them that outlet already exists on a separate circuit & they can come & check for which they refused. So they quoted new quote without checking as well as wanted to file permit without verifying to which I disagreed. I see most of the positive reviews are for a couple of technicians & are for small jobs but the management is corrupt & they will scam you.
Reply to Vinci Response: The township informed you on Feb12, 2025 about your incomplete application that required electric & building permits. Upload here even 1 proof that you informed the property...
