I want to start off by saying that my family and I have always loved, and still continue to love coming over and watching movies at this theater. The staff has always been friendly and the theater is clean. However, this past weekend (1/03/25), my mom and I came over to a 8:30 showing. It was back in theater 2 and it was FREEZING in there. The heat was clearly turned off. My mom, myself, and even others attending the movie went to the concession staff and complained, yet nothing was done about it. I was told that the heat was off and that they would turn it on. After a while, my mom went to let the staff know that it was still not turned on and they told her "the emergency heat was on." I'm not even sure what that is but it was not fun having to watch a movie in the freezing cold. Literally everyone in there was shaking and had their winter coats on. I honestly think the heat was off in the entire back half of the building (when walking down the hall, you could automatically tell a change in the temperature when toward the back). This is just upsetting because going to the movies isn't cheap and this took away from the beloved movie experience of going to the...
Read moreThis place is amazing. I know, it's a movie theater in a mall, right? What would make it amazing or different than another theater?
For one, pricing. My wife and I are from KY and travelling across the country via bicycle on the Transamerican Cycling trail and we have never seen $4 matinees anywhere where we are from.
Two, friendly and helpful staff. Because we needed to put our bikes inside so we could watch an entire movie without being concerned with someone getting a little too curious about our bikes that are loaded down with all the gear it takes to travel the country, we asked Lexie before AMC8 had even opened if stashing them inside would be okay. Not only did she say yes and then make our case to her co-workers for us, but she took a genuine interest in the adventure that we were on to make it across the country.
We won't be forgetting our trip to this theater anytime soon. Additionally, if you haven't seen Ant-man and the Wasp or Jurassic World: Fallen...
Read moreIt's Really clean place for a theater but I wish they got more stuff avaliable for watching like newer stuff as, since they are in a ruel(not sure if I spelled that right) community they don't really get much of the newer movies as soon as many would like. They also have limited choices for soda and cost an arm and a leg for candy but that's what most theaters do anyway (at least I think so I haven't been to many) and it is just an amazing place to experience a movie really, I mean the movies themselves have a role in it but the theater also has a role in it and I just wanna say there part is played to the best of their ability! I mean it's I go there rarely but I love it when I do and I like the movie as, I get uh, this isn't the right word but it's the best that fits, entranced by it, and as someone whom is ADHD and knows a lot when I pay attention, it's amazing and I honestly never have an experience like that...
