CVS — Local services in Plainfield

Visited this CVS location this morning somewhat early in the a.m.

Not sure if this is a company wide mandate but this location has now locked up toothpaste and deodorant ! What kind of dystopian world are we living in ! Not aware of any rash of looting in this area yet still here we are with items behind glass. I can see why people in NYC are leaving, I wouldn't want to live in this manner for too long !

Not to mention it took about 20 min. to have an employee show up this morning. They were in the backroom doing god know what was in there. Anything but working !! She finally emerged from the CVS cave to help out us 3 customers that have been waiting for awhile. She was very pissed off which hey it's not my fault the toothpaste and deodorant is behind glass ! If it was available I could have grabbed it, payed for it and be on my way long ago without ever having to interact with this Grumpy person !!! Why work somewhere you despise. It's 2024 go work at factory where you never have deal with the general public !

This location is very convenient but at the same time a pain in the _ to deal with.

Finding it hard to think if I would ever come back to this location unless it's a dire emergency !

Scammers!!! Be careful! They want you to pay for your meds out of pocket! The worst CVS pharmacy! A script was sent into this CVS in Plainfield and the Pharmacist said the med wasn’t covered due to no coverage! That is a lie!!! I called my insurance carrier and spoke to the pharmacy with my insurance and CVS NEVER USED THE INSURANCE! They wanted us to pay $200.00 for a cream. My insurance company is aware of the pharmacy and its scam of acting like the insurance denied payment, when the truth is they NEVER SUBMITTED IT to the insurance! Please beware! Do not pay more than a simple copayment. Call your insurance and please don’t pay for your meds! Oh and they are terribly RUDE! Pulled the shade down at 7, even though we were at the window! Just obnoxiously Rude female pharmacist! Don’t trust this Pharmacy! They’re liars...

I had an issue with my online order that was supposed to be at CVS store at 1204 Park Ave., Plainfield, NJ. I had received an email saying it was picked-up even though I had not. So, when I called the store, Anthony P. responded extremely patiently & with courtesy. Initially, he found the same problem. But, he went above & beyond and looked into this problem and found my order. He was same courteous associate when I went to the store to pick-up my order. Very helpful & personable.
