I went to Tricom Radio shack in Platteville, WI looking for a wireless charger for my S22. I spoke with a sales representative who directed me to a kiosk with wireless chargers on the way I noticed a separate display mid aisle showcasing the same chargers on sale for $24.95 from their normal price of $34.95. To be clear, this sale price was clearly posted in two areas and both sales tags were the same price. Seeing this, I picked up one for the car and one for the house. At the register I was quoted a price of nearly $80 reflecting the price before sale. I pointed this out to the clerk, who accompanied me back down the aisle to the Kiosk witnessing the sale prices in both locations. I was informed the sale tags were incorrect. I asked to verify since the sale was prominently displayed in not one, but two places in the store. The clerks replied that he could put them back for me. I reminded him that what the store was doing is illegal and that Radio shack should honor the sale as it is consumer fraud to do otherwise. The clerk refused and stated he did not have the ability to do anything about it. I was not even offered an aooprtuntiy to speak with the manager. I did what any reasonable person would, and left to spend my money elsewhere. DO NOT SHOP HERE. They practice fraudulant pricing and do not honor sale prices. Further their staff is not well trained and their management is obviously out to lunch. I won't tell anyone where they should spend their money but I will warn people away from crooks, and fraudsters. I'll never go back and you would do well to save yourself the pain and shop...
Read moreI have been to US Cellular four times in the last week. I have received false information three out of the four times I have been there. The day I got my phone activated I was in there for over an hour. The person activating my phone had to call tech support two times because he did not know what he was doing. He then proceeded to put my screen protector on and there was debris underneath it. He said it was just a bubble and that it would work its way out, but it didn't. When I went back to get that fixed, the guy working said they weren't able to put a new one on for me. The workers are incompetent; they don't know how to correctly do their job, they give false information, and they are incredibly slow. If you want to waste your time, take a visit to Tricom Communications. I would rather travel a half hour to the next closest US Cellular then have to go back to that store. It's unfortunate that such a great phone carrier has to have their name disgraced because of such...
Read moreDishonest…I stopped into this building looking for US Cellular as this is where it was formerly located. Instead of being honest and informing me that US Cellular had moved they told me that USC was no longer but they could get me “switched over.” It is true USC will be merging but this is not what they told me. They claimed AT&T had better phone and data service. It does not. They made several other claims about rebates that proved to be untrue. When I questioned the false information the person who appeared to be the manager continued to argue about the merger. He did eventually acknowledge that there is no cellular data service in most of Platteville. He knew this before I signed with a plan but did not disclose until confronted. The poor AT&T service is a separate issue but the staff here being dishonest is their issue. Very...
