I took my daughter here and brought my own shampoo and conditioner and asked for a blowout. My daughter has never had a perm and I was not planning on getting her one. The lady that was suppose to do her hair complained about her texture and was telling me her curls were too tight. I sat there for a whole hour listening to this lady complain in her langauge. My gut was telling me to leave but I stayed because my daughter had pictures to take the next day. Another stylist decided to do my daughter hair, it looked good. My daughter washed her hair 2 weeks after and her texture did not come back and her curls are gone. Her hair also smelled of chemicals months after. This happened in September 2021 it is now the end of January 2022 and her hair is falling out, its stringy and her curls have not come back. I want to let yall now if you are black and want to keep your hair natural please, please, please do not go to this salon, Im begging you. Gf wanted a long style pixie cut, but they refused to cut the hair how she wanted. Shouldn't have to find some common ground between client and hairstylist to compromise a different haircut. Then proceeded to cut it wrong, and couldn't grasp concept of layering hair and instead gave very choppy bangs that are basically unfixable. Communication is very hard. They refused to give what client wants. If you're going for a styled cut, do not go here. If you want layers or short hair, do not go here. A pixie cut is far more different than a bowl styled haircut. Wanted short back and long bangs, got long back and short bangs. This was not worth the 55$ spent and gf went home crying from how much she hates her hair. Worse experience of my life !!! I was referred here by 2 ppl that’s the only reason I trusted them to know what to do with my hair type ! I only needed a blow out for my natural hair ... I was Styled by a Guy named Jordan who clearly needs his cosmetology license revoked !!! The blow dryers & flat irons seemed to keep goin out ( electrical problems maybe idk ) but nothing was hot enough. The more he worked on my hair the more unsure I became of his skills. He was just goin thru the motions & spun me out the chair lookin as if it was done by a complete amateur . And had the nerve to want damn near $30 for PLAYING in my hair. I HAVE PHOTOS !!! DONT USE THIS BUSINESS IF U WANT A BLOW OUT JUST GO TO MARITZAS or Cache’s for a blow out instead . I wouldn’t recommend this place EVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS...
