Partner Steel Co. Inc — Local services in Pocatello

It's a great product but with this being my second stove I have purchased by this company, I will not buy another one of their products nor recommend anyone else do.

These are a few reasons I will not recommend nor buy again from these guys...

1. Inaccurate lead times: When I made my purchase on May 7, I was quoted ten to twelve weeks for the 22" two-burner stove to be delivered. Not one time in the twelve weeks did I call to babysit the order. (I realize metals and materials globally were affected by COVID-19. I also realize shipping was affected.)

I felt like I was very patient, so in week 13 I called to get an update. The only information they could give me was that they HAD NOT EVEN STARTED TO BUILD IT. I foolishly asked when could I expect it to be completed and delivered? The very nice old lady I spoke with simply said, "Call back next week."

I waited two weeks and called again, this time I was told that they just got the burners in but there were a few orders before mine and that I needed to call back again. Not once did the same old lady offer to call me to give me an update. I had to chase them down to get an answer.

One more repeat call and repeat answer later I basically gave up.

After 22 weeks, no communication, no apology for a delay or even an attempt to salvage the relationship, the stove showed up on my doorstep. I can understand this being a commonplace issue with rear bumpers, running boards and the like but we are talking about a very small object by comparison. Ridiculous.

2. Customer Service: Truly non-existent. Just think of the DMV in terms of how much they care.

3. Competition: With so many new products coming to the market and specifically the new Camp Chef aluminium stove that really copied this briefcase style stove, and for almost half the price, it's a no-brainer. Save a few hundred and buy something else instead of purchasing an outdated brand/name because at the end of the day that's all your...

If Hiroshima or Nagasaki had Partner Steel stoves to hide behind, we’d be speaking Japanese.

Buy once, cry once. The gear they make will last your lifetime, your kids and grandkids. If you’re tired of Walmart and disposable gear, upgrade to Partner Steel. Absolutely phenomenal customer service and products. Spend a little more for American made products, this company is the embodiment of what you expect from the USA.

I ordered a 4 burner stove from partner steel to carry with me on river trips with my family, it cost nearly $800 but surely it would be a good investment. I never received my stove due to a shipping error on the manufacturers behalf, I also was not ever credited a refund. Partner steel kept my money and never sent me a stove.
