Extremely disappointed with our most recent pick up experience we did not receive one of the platters we commissioned, it was unfortunately not noticed by my husband who made the trip from new jersey to make the pick up. Its not even that it was missed that is annoying it was the complete and utter lack of care from the staff when i called. First i was told they called me and said it wouldn't be done until tomorrow, i was not. that was apparently someone else. Then i was told it'll probably be ready tomorrow. Then I was told they could not find any matching my description on the shelf and it was probably in the kiln, which they won't be able to open until around noon tomorrow. Which means we cant make a trip up until late afternoon if it's even in there. When i voiced my displeasure and the inconvenience and my concern that they don't even know if they had my item i was told ok but its not in their control. I'm not sure how communication with their customers and the ability to read and double check their orders going out is beyond their control. In addition i was told it was a "mad house" there today. That's not my problem i followed their instructions and returned to pick up my items when they told me to. It is just an expectation of basic customer service and proper communication perhaps they need to implement a more effective system for busier times. Its unfortunate because we truly did love going there and it was not at all our first time but definitely our worst experience...
Read moreMy daughter and I truly enjoy every time we come to Poke-A-Nose Pottery! You choose your piece and then they help you select your colors so you can paint it. Your glazed and fired piece is done in 7 days.
We have painted here multiple times. The prices are marked on the bottom and include all studio fees (use of paint, brushes, firing, etc). I feel the prices are very reasonable: larger/more detailed pieces are more expensive. Small pieces might be $15-18 but larger ones can be $25-28+. They have different selections all the time, especially holiday/seasonal.
You can also make mosaics, add-ons, magnets, etc. You can come back multiple times to finish a project (first time.. up to 30 days ...storage is free) or if you aren't local they have a flat rate shipping fee. Every staff member I've interacted with has been super helpful and...
Read moreCute place but very overpriced... we stopped going because on top of the fee for your piece there was also a studio fee of 7 dollars. They did away with the studio fee, but it’s obvious the price of the pieces went up... my two daughters and I went this week and my girls each had a piece smaller then an adult hand and then a super small piece that will be used as a refrigerator magnet... I had one piece the size of a child’s hand... The bill was $77.00 for 5 small pieces... That’s just ridiculous... I get it, they have bills to pay too, but that’s one bill I I won’t be paying again in the near future...
The staff is nice and it’s a cute place to visit maybe once a year for the overall experience...
⭐️ One star for good staff, ⭐️ one star for being child friendly and ⭐️ One star for a cute selection...
