I am in no way a food critic, but I've had my share of the best and worst that this world has to offer when it comes to culinary experiences. For these reasons, I am compelled to share my thoughts about The Lounge at the Baymont Hotel in Bartonsville Pennsylvania.
First a little about myself which quantifies my review. I've traveled the world over for more than 4 decades, visiting over 125 countries and staying at the most elegant of hotels in Europe, South America nd other continents, to even the smallest shanty's across Southeast Asia. I've indulged in every type of cuisine imaginable; from the traditional to the somewhat absurd. Which leads me to leave this shining review of The Lounge at the Baymont.
First of all lets hit my favorites,... "The Appetizers". If you're looking for a selection of delicious combinations to get things rolling, this menu offers a good mix of staple goodies such as Savory Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries, Chicken Tenders, Spring Rolls, Wings & Dips. There are a mix of appealing favorites from the Tex-Mex Chili Bowl to the Soups and Salads. You will be pleased at the attention to detail that is given to these Intermezzo selections that prepare your taste buds for the "Main Event".
Now let us get to the entrees and such. You will no doubt enjoy the Burgers that are open to your almost every wish; from how it's prepared to the variety is succulent toppings. Whatever you do, don't pass up the Flatbreads. My family's favorite is the Philly Cheesesteak. Trust me, you won't regret it. Just a few weeks ago my immediate family gathered at The Lounge for my 65th birthday. We shared a compliment of menu items including the Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread. It drew raves was across the tables, that even put a smile on my three-year-old grandsons lips. No matter if you desire a simple Cheesesteak or Wrap, or if you want to go over the top with a Strip Steak, Pulled Pork or Chicken Parmesan Dinner, you will absolutely be pleased with whatever is served here at The Lounge.
Now let me be clear it is obvious that even though Covid-19 restriction mandates food establishments to limit menu selections, the Lounge's offerings are exceptionally robust and abundant. I would absolutely recommend The Lounge at the Baymont as it has become one of my family's favorites to dine at during my stay. If you are traveling or simply a local in the Monroe County area, I suggest that you visit The Lounge at the Baymont I assure you, it will it be an experience that you will completely enjoy.
Now, to be in full disclosure, even though circumstances are requiring my wife and I to be semi-longterm guests here at the Baymont, my review of The Lounge and its offerings are absolutely honest and forthcoming. We are not being compensated in any way, nor do we expect to be, for our positive reviews of this establishment and the food that my family and I have enjoyed
Cordially yours,...
Read moreNot sure if its because they are under staffed but just TERRIBLE service. (We didn’t even order) its our first night at Baymont and my boyfriend and I was hopping to just hear good music, relax, drink, and eat. (Mind you we came here to spend my boyfriends birthday). We walked in and approached the bar asked if it was a seat yourself. She told me yes but we need to let them know where we are setting. I told her we will sit at that table on the side. Also, before I walked away I asked about menus and she said we need to grab them but they where behind the bar why would I think to grab something from behind the bar? So, my boyfriend and I sat down looked at the menu. We decided what we wanted to drink, what we wanted for appetizer, and what we wanted as a meal. It’s about 10 minutes and nobody has came to us. A group of 3 sat down without speaking to anybody and in about 4 minutes a waitress was at there table. Then a family of 4 came about 5 minutes after the group of 3 (also didn’t speak to nobody) and a waiter brought menus and took there drinks. They brought both tables there drinks and took their orders. Once I seen that we where sitting here for about 20 or 25 minutes with no service. I stood up took the menu back to the bar and said We been sitting for 20 minutes with no service. He’s excuse was that nobody could of know we where sitting there and that side usually isn’t open. So, why open that side if you don’t plan on serving people who may sit on that side. Not to mention there was a birthday party to our right, A couple to our left, and a group of four walking in and sat at our table after we got...
Read moreMy family was staying at the connected hotel for the weekend for a wedding we visited the lounge both nights.
The first night seemed to go fine, then the next morning my uncle woke up with a bunch of fraudulent charges on his credit card, he only used his card at the lounge the night before we thought it could maybe coincidence
Cut to the next night I order a drink and open a tab, later on go to close the tab and they repeatedly tried to give me another Kevin’s credit card I had to repeatedly tell them that is the wrong card but they kept insisting it was mine. It was not. Then after finally admitting they must have lost my card they were entirely unapologetic and were acting like I was in the wrong for being upset they lost my credit card when I am across the country from my home.
Between what happened with my uncle and myself I believe there is a credit card thief or fraudster who is working here.
If you still feel like patronizing this business for some reason, be sure to...
