I used to love this place and have both bought and donated for many years but now the women who run it apparently look off of eBay from their phones to get the pricing for their thrift store items. The same items that are donated to them for free. unfortunately anything can be listed on eBay for any price. Just because itās listed at that price doesnāt mean that it is selling for that price or even close to worth that price. the fact that they are listing things within their thrift store above and beyond retail is upsetting. Itās not a department store. all of your items were donated. Making them unaffordable to the patrons that come in looking for discounted items that they can afford is unconscionable and definitely not what I would expect from a supposed religious organization. Youāre better off getting it New at target unless you are looking for faded...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am giving them three stars for the good that they do. I am a little disappointed, as I did not get what I paid for. I went in and bought a jewelry jar marked $40 but it was 1/2 off of jewelry that day so I got it for $20. I was so excited to open it but I didnāt get jewelry. Iām not even kidding. I got loose beads, beads attached to fishline with no clasps at the end, a WHOLE BUNCH of broken jewelry. Some vintage earrings but only single ones. There was literally children stickers in there- stars and flowers. A broken bangle. Loose white hair tangled in MARDI GRAS beads. Iām upset. I will not be shopping there, as the thrift stores I usually frequent, including other SVDP are honest. The ladies were sweet up front, but I am not happy with my purchase as far as the jar goesā¦. I am happy that I gave to a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlace is fairly organized and people are friendly when you walk in. Thatās where it stops. Google lens has taken the prices here over the top on furniture and household goods. The clothing at first glance appears priced great with a large sign stating the priced per piece. This is until you get to the front. Any recognizable brands (by the cashier) have on the spot pricing. This is super confusing and shady. The store is packed. This store would be so much better and not overflowing if they went back to affordable pricing. So many things just sitting there. Google lens is not always accurate. They are charging retail rates or close for so many items that people have overpriced online and are also sitting there. Support the community and keep your prices low, move...
