Dollar General — Local services in Ponce de Leon

I was 45 cents short on cash. So embarrassing!! The woman working the register took 2 quarters out of her pocket and put it with the money I had given her! I told her no I could go to the car and get it. She insisted I keep it. I thanked her and went to my car. I looked all through it, only a couple of pennies. I then went to the gas station. Going in to use my debit card so I could get some cash and return the money back to the lovely lady who had given to me earlier. Not knowing that the gentleman in front of me had payed it forward. Leaving $20 paid gas. To me!!! I got so excited!! I ran across the street crying with joy!!! I gave her the $20 I was going to use for gas! We cried!! What a Blessing!!! ...... Friendly store except store manager she is so rude and hateful. She talks about customers to her employees. Yells at the her employees in front of customers. And has someone out of uniform helping her to do her work. She needs to go. She has very poor customer skills. Was told by others that she got kicked out of a dollar general store for her attitude. I see why she is so mean and hateful. She makes my whole day go bad when I see her there and how she treats her employees. And always outside on her phone talking to someone and smoking. And taking to a man there. Never inside where she needs to be. When employees come ask her a question she yells at t them calling them names...

I was visiting friends from Ponce and we needed supplies for our dinner. As we were there, we happened upon Tina, who was trying to get the store in order. She was very friendly and helpful, with us not being from that area, we were struggling trying to locate where some things were. She not only helped us located what we needed, she took the time out of her very busy schedule to talk to us and offered advice on some area attractions. Admittedly she was quite new to the store and enjoyed helping others. She is one of the very best service hearts* and will go far with...
