Lavish Nails — Local services in Ponte Vedra Beach

What I’ve noticed, is that if your service isn’t expensive you’re told to “come back later we’re busy.” Or, if you call to make an appt for a less expensive service or a nail repair the day after your nails were done you’re told to come at 6:30 pm no matter the day. No appt offered. When you call Than out on this, you get the wrath. I was yelled at, blamed, and ordered around the minute I walked in the door by Than (Ten) in front of customers. Eyes rolled, pulling at my fingers, pushed them away, obviously did not want to fix my 2 nails. There were 2 customers with 2 other techs, she had none. She did a sloppy job. I was literally stunned and quietly sat and thanked her for taking me as she continued to push and pull my fingers and say snarky things to her colleagues and make them laugh. Because I couldn’t come at 6:30pm any day? I was going to just leave but she had already started on my fingers. While I was there, she took a walk in and they made an appointment for someone for the time I had originally requested an appt when I called. She charged me for the nail fix (fine) but refused card payment asking me to come back with cash. I came back and gave her double the price she wanted for 2 nails. I quietly then showed her the respect she didn’t show me then let her know I would never be back and I had never been talked to or treated like that before as a customer. This was my third time at this nail salon. The first two times were great with Jenny. This time was a very different experience, a different lady did my nails and they’re the worst they’ve ever looked. I asked for the shape and thickness to be fixed multiple times and even tried shaping them myself. I tried a new sugar glitter top coat and it looked beautiful on the sample… the nail tech put black underneath as seen in the photo which made my nails look dirty on the edges. The dip is on my skin- the nail tech took the time to go clean herself off after finishing the black layer but never took the time to clean the thick layer off my skin. The dip was bumpy and thick even after using the drill and my nails look super wide which is unusual as I have very thin fingers and nails. It usually takes an hour at most to get my nails done, this took an hour and a half. It got to the point of me being so ready to go, I chose to stop correcting her and let her finish so I could leave. Immediately after leaving I shaped them myself to make them look a tad bit better (the second photo is after). $70 later and it looks like a 3rd grader did my nails… less than dissatisfied and will not...

Maybe it was because I got their 45 min before closing but my experience was not great what I was told was medium length looks pretty short and my nail tech was convincing me I was making a bad decision on not getting gel polish or sns I felt very awkward because the topic was pushed many times and I asked for more glue on my nail tips because 2 felt loose she then roughly grabbed a few of my nails and yanked on them to prove the glue was strong in the process she ripped off one of the nails then acted like nothing happened lightly glued it back on I personally went to this shop because the reviews were so nice my experience was one that I didn't plan on having and just was not expecting that treatment :( again I'm sure this shop has alot of nice people just happen to not have one on my appointment the nails turned out nice looking but have no idea how long they...
