You picked a bad night to text me for a 5 star review after my meal. I was going to let it go, but since you asked. It is my daughter’s 12th bday today. I called two days ago and asked to make a reservation for her bday party. They said no need, just come in. I said cool, it’s my daughter’s bday so I just wanted to call ahead and get it in the books so they could sing to her. Again, I was told no need just tell the hostess when you get here. Well, trying to make it a surprise, I dropped my wife off at the door while I parked so she could set up the bday song when the dessert comes out. Hostess tell her to let the waitress know. We were like okay, but we are trying to surprise her and didn’t want to tell the waitress. Again, whatever, just weird. We causally let the waitress know and she tells her happy bday. We are thinking awesome, good to go. We have dinner, great as always. We order two desserts to split. I’ve got my phone ready to video when I see her walking over, and the waitress just brings them out, drops them off, and walks away. Seriously don’t know what else I could have done to set up the bday song. The irony is the staff came out for another table while we were eating and sang for them. Just super disappointing. Called ahead, walked in ahead, told the waitress…and nothing. I still tipped her very well (I’m in the industry), but just a very disappointing end to the night. I seriously was going to let it go until you texted me asking for a review. So 3 stars since the food was great. I’m sure we’l be back…just never...

Añejo is an exquisite Mexican restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly complemented the culinary journey ahead. The décor was tasteful, highlighting Mexican culture without being overwhelming. What truly set Añejo apart was the impeccable service, particularly from our waitress Mirian. Her knowledge of the menu was extensive, and she guided us through the various options with patience and enthusiasm. She recommended several dishes, including the signature mole enchiladas and the flavorful cochinita pibil, both of which were exceptional. The food itself was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to authentic Mexican flavors. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, using fresh ingredients that elevated traditional recipes to new heights. The presentation was also noteworthy, adding to the overall dining experience. The drink selection at Añejo was impressive, featuring a wide range of tequilas and mezcal options. Mirian skillfully curated a selection of cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal, enhancing the flavors and providing a refreshing contrast. In conclusion, Añejo is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Mexican cuisine served with exceptional hospitality. Mirian's attentive service added a personal touch to our dining experience, making it truly memorable. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and look forward to...

A Mexican Gem with Unbeatable Value and Flavor This spot is hands-down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve visited! The vibrant atmosphere hits you right away, with stunning wall murals that add a unique touch—love that they even incorporated the mural design into the menu. Speaking of the menu, it’s a standout: thoughtfully curated with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Whether you’re craving tacos, burritos, or something more adventurous, there’s something for everyone, with multiple ways to customize your order. The food itself was phenomenal, bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. I was blown away by the value—each dish felt like a steal for the portion size and quality. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of affordability and excellence. I opted for the sweet tea, which I’ll admit I was skeptical about ordering at a Mexican spot, but it was a total game-changer. It was deliciously refreshing, perfectly sweetened, and easily rivaled the quality of the food. I even grabbed a to-go cup for the road, and let me tell you, it was practically a jug—well worth it! From the creative menu to the unbeatable dollar value and that surprisingly amazing sweet tea, this place is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

I Would recommend for anyone who loves great Mexican food with a side of fantastic...

We made it fairly early on a Saturday evening and were pleased that although many tables were occupied we could be seated immediately. The booths are large and comfortable. The interior is really beautiful and offers a very upscale vibe to the overall dining experience. Everything we had was delicious, but the Caliente Guacamole really stood out for our appetizer. The flavors were excellent in the guac itself, but imagine adding whole pieces of jalapenos, bacon, and pork rinds and this rises another level. Our keto party member was thrilled to have some pork rinds for a scoop since they couldn't eat the warm and tasty chips. Speaking of which, the complimentary chips come with delicious salsa and our server offered to refill our basket, which is a nice touch. The quantity of food is extremely generous. My chicken and shrimp fajitas overflowed the plate, leaving me plenty of leftovers for a future lunch. The only nit we had were the green peppers added to the chimichanga, as they do not like green peppers and have never had chimichangas include this in the past, but now we know to ask them to leave them out for the future. And a future there shall be! Great atmosphere, delicious food, generous portions all add up to five stars.Prices are in line with the experience. I would definitely bring company here to celebrate a special occasion.
