Unfortunately I had a horrible experience. I purchased a gift (which had to be sent from another store) and was assured that the item would arrive in a timely manner. I was needing the gift by Thanksgiving (ordered it on the 16th) and was assured it would arrive with plenty of time. I asked if I needed to purchase expedited shipping and was told it would be fine. Well, flash forward and the gift never arrived. I was told that they send out all the items being transferred from other stores once per week and apparently it didn’t get sent out in time. I understand shipping delays, but I would advise the staff to not assure customers of arrival times for gifts. The attitude surrounding the gift not arriving on time was a lack of care and concern. In the following days, the item still didn’t arrive and I was beginning to wonder if it had even been sent out yet. The only conversation I had with an employee was her telling me that this has happened to another customer who had ordered multiple items for Christmas photos that did not arrive on time, so I shouldn’t feel so bad. I had asked to speak with the owner and never got a returned phone call. Today the item finally arrive (Nov. 30th) and when the gift was picked up it was tossed into a bag (after it was supposed to be gift wrapped) and was the wrong size after all of the waiting. Read moreOutrageously poor leadership and customer service. I sent my mom in with $500 to buy a fitted sheet. She found one after shopping through the stores selection. She wasn’t sure of the color and the salesperson told her she could go home with it and if it didn’t match could return the sheet for a refund. My mom returned right away with the sheet as it didn’t match and so she bought another one but the salesperson refused to give her the $100 balance refund. Despite the fact that she told my mom she would. When I called the store manager she fought with me and said too bad. When I called the owner Tandy/Tanda? she also said that we misunderstood and no, she will not give refund for difference.
I also went in w a gift card and purchased something and I was told “so sorry we don’t give receipts of gift card balance. You have to just take our word.” What a ridiculous archaic process and protocol.
I love Bonjour and Schlossberg and have several sets. As a Swiss and a consumer of these fine linens the customer service herein by no means parallel’s the product. What a let down and disgrace. We would have been lifelong clients. Too bad they have poor leadership that clearly trickles down to in market staff. Rotten tree rotten fruit. The staff were awesome, they explained patiently with enthusiasm the importance of the quality of the linen and down, the context of threadcount, the different brands, the longevity of the products and how to best care for the products.
At first, we purchased a French duvet cover and new duvet. After setting it up and being impressed with the quality and the potential improved sleep we were going to get from these high end products, we returned 30 minutes later to the store to purchase an Italian Sheetset and pillows.
The end result we had the best sleep that night we have ever had at home.
