The Sawgrass Spa & Fitness Center — Local services in Ponte Vedra Beach

It’s sad. This place use to be so nice and friendly. It was fun for groups and solo individuals. I use to visit often and I spoke to many people about it. They have become snobby and unprofessional. You call and speak to Managaent and when they say they will call you back… they NEVER RETURN THE CALLS. I called 5 times… just this month (not counting the previous 2 months) and no one ever called me back. They did not care to book a service. This is not how it use to be when previous managers ran the spa and I know because I went all the time. I loved it! The spa got remodeled and now they are too good for anyone that’s not wealthy…. So even though they charge you roughly $250 with a required service charge for your nails that is not enough to use their facility! They are not there for regular individuals, just the wealthy… So I will not go back to that spa!!! They can NEVER RETURN CALLS, they are Rude!!! Unprofessional and Ridiculous. I don’t need them! I have other choices!

Booking online was kind of a hassle because I was scheduling multiple services, but I was able to get things scheduled back to back which was great!

She had a massage and a pedicure, both of which she loved. She said that the massage therapist used just the right amount of pressure and was very considerate of her medical conditions which made her able to relax. The pedicure was also very relaxing for her.

She had full access to both the indoor and outdoor pools, and she enjoyed use of the sauna and jacuzzi and grabbed a small bite at the cafe. A person can enjoy a full day here with all of the access there is.

Was hoping for a better first experience here but was sadly disappointed. The bathrooms and women’s locker room were dirty and in need of a deep clean, there were bugs on the refreshment bar when we arrived, suite dryer not working etc, in general the locker room needs attention. The pool area is private and was quiet but was very basic and needed to be skimmed/cleaned when we were there. Front desk staff was also hit or miss, our spa attendant was lovely but the front desk attendant was not very welcoming and off-putting. As someone who frequents the local competitor spas and has traveled to many resorts and spas in other areas this one lacks in customer experience and overall...
