The Sweet Spot — Restaurant in Florida

We are from out of town, but have been coming to Trasca for several years. We always pop over to the cute ice cream shop that's next door, but it has changed owners since last time we were in. And WOW! What a change! The old shop was good, but they have really kicked it up a notch.

Delicious ice cream, wonderful shakes, and such cute and hilarious candy gifts. We did not opt for one of their mega shakes, but they looked amazing. Instead, the family got mint chocolate chip, chocolate, and salted caramel scoops that were mostly devoured (my daughter enjoys hoarding delicious things and saving them to savor at a later time, which she did the next night). I opted for the strawberry shake. You know your shake is going to be good when you get tiny bits of real strawberry in your mouth.

The Ice Cream Scooper was super friendly and very nice. A stream of customers came in right after us and the same friendly and patient tone was taken with each patron.

I also got a sample of the butter pecan and the praline pecan and was sad I only got one thing. So I am looking forward to our next visit to PVB for another stop at...

The ice cream is amazing and the service is phenomenal! I am new to the area and I am so happy that I discovered this place. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and so flavorful. They have many original flavors that will please adults and kids alike. The owner is hands-on and makes all of his customers feel so welcome. My kids had chocolate fudge ice cream and I had the "I almost cried at work" (yes, that's the real name!). It had a chocolate ice cream base with heath bar candy and an "adult" beverage flavor. Wow! Each cup of ice cream also comes with a salted pretzel stick which really is a nice contrast to the sweetness of the ice cream - almost like a palate cleanser. Stop by and taste...

I walked in and the guy behind the counter did a front flip over the register and greeted me with a warm embrace. We talked about karate and secret ninja stuff. I’m like “wow, this is amazing, this isn’t your average Baskin Robins, y’all ”. As I stood in line I noticed that Tim Tebow was also in line waiting on his cold sweet treaty treat. I did what any sane individual would do and cordially offered him a foot rub..... AT MY HOUSE!! He accepted.
