As a door dasher I realize many of your employees use services for their food, or essential supply deliveries. I come here between 5-15 times any given week. You seriously need a better system. It is incredibly busy with people, and us (providers to your employees) are only responsible for picking up the orders and getting them to the customer (within reasonable restrictions). In some cases we may earn half of our normal earnings when taking Amazon fulfillment orders, for the same given amount of time. We do not have time to go through a security gate, drive through a busy parking lot; park, and walk it inside. Especially when 90% of the parking spots are filled within any reasonable amount of walking distance.
Many of us dashers and Uber drivers came to an agreeable conclusion that we are tired of this, and will either proceed to use the drop off area by the door if you want your employees requests to be fulfilled, or they will not be fulfilled. Regardless if orders are indeed being fulfilled, This is costing your employee’s greatly higher tip amounts to receive their orders.
You guys need to understand your employees have needs, and the people providing their needs are being disrupted by plain and simple ridiculous rules. Please either give us parking spots for drop offs, or remove that ridiculous cone/flag set up by your drive up area.
Additionally I understand security is important, but over the course of the last 3-4 months it has gotten very difficult for us door dashers. In order to get in, we have to use the security gate, and claim our reason for entry, provide address, customers name. It’s just a-little bit silly, anyone can make up that information, it really is not stopping any bad person from entering- only Holding up the good ones that are trying to be a helpful service for your company and employees. Not to mention, we may also have to wait in a line just to enter security.
I’m very disappointed because I hate having my customers annoyed because I have to take extra time to give them their food; due to corporate decisions. I am not trying to sound rude, but I am very passionate and how I feel about this, and I rightfully understand why people may be getting upset about this issue. Please revise or at least consider a new set of access points, or...
Read moreTour was great, grandkids got to see robots moving packages around and miles of conveyor belts. Lasted about an hour and well organized. You can not take pictures, tour notes said there were specified areas you could take pics with cell phone; not true, at the end you could take a pic against a nicely painted wall which had nothing to do with what you saw on the tour. :(
Finding the place was confusing. We went to the wrong building 1300 instead of 1220 Featherstone Rd (thanks gps), the guards were a little rude but eventually pointed us to the right place. Guard at the correct address told us to go into the doors with the Amazon Smile and that was wrong; guard there seemed annoyed by us. But once we got to the correct place (The Recruitment Office), everything was good. Strange that a company that can delivery millions of boxes a day can't point you to the...
