I made an appointment for my son to get his 4 year old well child vaccines and for myself to recieve the Tdap shot due to currently being pregnant. I was very specific that the only reason I was coming in during the covid-19 pandemic was for vaccines, due to baby coming. The shots at 4 include MMR, chicken pox, polio, and tdap so all very important as a newborn can not get them all right away.
The only thing this practice did well at was getting us an appointment quickly. When I arrived I was informed they were out of MMR, polio, and chicken pox vaccine. I wasn't notified or given the chance to reschedule due to this, I was told by the nurse after being brought back to a room.
In addition to this I admit I did wait due to the covid-19 pandemic and having been in close contact with a family member and coworker who tested positive for covid so I wanted to protect others if I was potentially infected as well. I came in to get the Tdap at 37 weeks when it is suggested at 27-36 weeks pregnant. The nurse practitioner Mirsida Zholi refused to give me the Tdap vaccine even after I called my OB on speaker phone in front of her and got verbal permission that Mirsida Zholi requested from my OB, doctor Lauren Mellor, DO of Comprehensive Women's Care. Comprehensive Women's Care verbally stated they do not have the vaccine at their office and they advised me to go to my primary to recieve it.
In total the visit lasted nearly 2 hours 2:15-4pm, mind you this was with me 37 weeks pregnant and my 4 year old toddler who was hot in his mask, tired of being in the office, and wanting to touch everything.
I honestly don't know why I even paid for this visit as they did not complete any services I needed aside from my toddler getting 1/4 vaccines. I had to go to Walgreens for my Tdap shot which took 15 minutes, and I will now have to take my toddler to the health department for the rest of his shots.
Complete waste of time. Zholi is an incompetent NP who can not accept when she is wrong even when being verbally told by a my OB doctor with a DO aka more school than her what was needed to be done. Will not be returning or suggesting to anyone. This was a nightmare of...
Read moreI am so confused how these facilities are still functioning. No one ever answers the phone, I don't feel like I get any answers when I actually get in to an appointment. It is beyond frustrating trying to obtain health care at these facilities. A couple years ago, I had an intake to get accessed for COVID at the Baldwin center, after taking my copay, the male doctor literally looked at me from inside the building talking to me on the phone and said sorry we cannot administer the covid test to you at this time AFTER I was advised that I would receive it. Which was crazy because I went to a different urgent care and got it asap! Really bad to...
Read moreWhere do we begin? I thought long and hard before posting this, but had to as my peers talks about it, but wont speak up. After working at my new job seeing true collaboration, honesty, and not hearing about what people are not doing or didn't do was the push. We worked tirelessly for our patients and gets disciplined for baseless claims. We get disciplined for unprofessional behavior, long drawn out lectures but the coo experience person has shown us what unprofessional behavior looks like in real time. I've never seen anything like this openly. The biggest hypocrite I've ever met. My mental health is more important than...
