I went to this salon in an attempt to save some money on my hair. I had a few friends recommend that I go here because their prices were reasonable. My normal stylist was booked and I was short on funds so when I spoke to Tiffany, the owner, who said she could do my hair for $85 I was so happy to book an appointment.

I spent $85 for a low-maintenance Baylayage, or at least that is what I asked for. Well she did not deliver, in fact my hair was ruined. There were streaks and patches of color and solid bleed lines that were clearly visable everywhere. I was so upset. I reached out to her explaining that it was not at all what I had asked for, and that I was disappointed in the services to the point where I wanted a refund. I was upset but yet very polite in my correspondence with the owner while asking for a refund, She offered to have me come in for her to "fix" it. She said that it was my fault that the blotches and lines were there because I had fine, thin hair. Well, after how my hair turned out, I did not trust her to touch my hair again so I politely told her that I could not come back up there (because I live about 45 minutes away) and that I just wanted a refund. She responded with a rude and blatant "No. Tanglez doesn't do refunds", and another attempt to convince me to come back so she could fix it.

I have never dealt with a business owner as rude and unprofessional as the owner of this salon. I never did get my money back, and to top it all off, I had to spend 3 1/2 hours, 3 color treatments, a deep condition and a couple hundered dollars more at my usual salon (Roots Southern Salon) to get it fixed!

My hair looks much better now, but I spent much more than I should have and I had to deal with the unprofessionalism and rudeness from the owner of Tanglez Hair Studio. I learned my lesson the hard way, so take my word for it. DO NOT GO...

I am new to the area and I went and saw Kim at this Salon. I am so glad because she's very kind, professional and she's very good at explaining on all of my concerns about having my hair go lighter . She took the time coloring and cutting my hair and she listens on every details I asked her. I am very happy with the work she did on my hair and I will see her again in 6 weeks! Very nice environment! I met the other 2 hairdressers ( Tiffany and Candace) and all of them are really friendly and kind! I will definitely take my daughter at this salon during her college breaks. My stylist was April and I was not happy with the cut and rude. I unfortunately had to settle with it because my hair is so short. All the stylists were trash talking another stylist behind her back because she was not there and they all went quiet when she showed up. I should have listened to the reviews! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The place is dirty as well with hair everywhere even the sitting area. Two stylists were sitting around for 30 minutes waiting for their client to come in, could have worked...
