Kroger — Local services in Poquoson

Disappointed. UPDATE-They have packaged "fresh and wild caught" fish. I wanted some so grabbed some cod. I thought I could smell it in my ride home and I was right. It was so bad. They either know and do not care (which is likely) or know nothing about seafood. I threw it out. This Kroger is just awful.

I was excited for Kroger because of its healthy mix of average and specialty type variety of items. This store location is beyond disappointing. The hot bar and salad bar are well below average. I was expecting a larger variety of organic fresh produce, meats and frozen items (and not just in their generic brand they use). The seafood selection is awful. And NOBODY LIKES SIMPLE TRUTH ORGANIC KOMBUCHA. They sell GT's brand as well but stock such a small amount (and in ONE FLAVOR) that it is always sold out. This makes no sense and nobody wants their store brand kombucha. This store needs a major upgrade and I have spoken to many others who feel the same way. I shop here as little as possible. The front of the store manager was rude and cruel to my handicap wife. She is mentally disabled and we had previously gotten money orders from there to pay bills. We ended up in a nasty situation that caused us to move so we went back to cash in the money orders to get our money back. The manager on duty is usually never in the service area and my wife went in while I parked the car because the money orders were on her name. She came out crying because the manager had her fill them out wrong and ran them wrong and screwed them all up and costed us 1300 dollars. Then she told my wife it was her fault and was as rude as could be. We shopped here all the time for the better part of a year but won't be coming back. We saw online afterwards Kroger doesn't cash there own money orders. A quick Google search from the manager (who should've known this already) would have been better than making my wife feel awful and making her cry. Thanks...

Worst Kroger ever go somewhere else. The pharmacist said the could fill my script an it would be 20 mins. So 20mins later it still waswas filled an said it would be 30 more. So we left came back 45mins later AND IT STILL WASNT RDY . SO WE LEFT AND CAME BACK AGIN AND AT THIS POINT I BROUGHT THE STORE MANGER OVER AN BECAUSE I DID SHE TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T HAVE IT AN COULDN'T FILL IT . WHAT A JOKE CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AN SPOKE TO MULTIPLE PPL . THE LADY STILL WORKS THERE AND TOLD MY GIRL FRIEND THAT WAS WITH ME A WEEK LATER BY HERSELF THAT SHHE DIDNT HAVE ANY OF HER 3 PERSCIPTIONS. KROGER MANAGEMENT HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT THIS LADY THAT DISCRIMINATED AGINST US AN HAS TURNED A BILININD EYE . GETTING MANGEMENT ONLY MADE IT WORSE . FIND SOMEWERE TO SHOP OTHER THAN KROGER. TRY WALLMART FOR MEDICATION. Aldi hell even farm fresh puts them to shame...
