I should have done this earlier. I had made an appointment for service on my 2022 K1600B for the second week in July. I wanted to make sure that it was tiptop for my trip to Sturgis, on which I was leaving on July 30th. A month prior to my appt., a significant warranty issue arose, in which Hermy’s immediately diagnosed the issue and ordered the part that was needed to have it in time for my appt. I dropped my bike off on July 11th. The work I requested…oil and filter, differential lube change, and new frt/rear tires…was completed promptly, but the part ordered had still not shipped. We agreed to wait another week to get some word from BMW. It wasn’t until the 24th or 25th that BMW informed Hermy’s that the part wasn’t shipping till the 31st, which would had made my trip to Sturgis dead in the water. I discussed this disappointment with Jason in service and asked if there were any solutions to this mess. Here is where Hermy’s stepped up, looked outside the box, and found a solution to my dilemma. My bike was fixed immediately and delivered back to me. I rode out to Sturgis, had a great time riding the many beautiful roads in the Black Hills, and rode that baby back to PA. In all, I nearly put 4600 miles on my bike in 2 weeks, without a hiccup. I can’t say the same for my fellow travelers who were riding HD’s. I would like to say thank you to Hermy’s management and Jason in service for going above and beyond in making sure I enjoyed my trip. They were not required to do what they did to get me back on the rode. If this isn’t great customer service, I don’t know what is. There is a dealership 2 miles from where I live, but I will continue traveling 60+ miles and continue doing business with Hermy’s. Wonderful sales and great...
Read moreHere we go! This is my 17th bike purchase from different bike dealerships throughout the upper east coast. I've purchased sport bikes to dual sports to supermotos to cafes...etc and there is always something that is just a little bit off with the dealership. Some were quick changes on final prices (the added "fees"), some were messing up paperwork, some were just apathetic, some were misrepresenting a bikes condition but all of them fell short of a great purchase experience that I wish I could have from a dealership for once! In comes Hermy's when I was in the market for a BMW GS and after a few emails and credit check the bike was delivered to me 1 hour and 45 minutes away without ever seeing the dealership. I signed a few papers and boom....done! It should be this easy every time! There were no hidden fees for documentation or anything, the salesman, Bobby Brown (seriously), was excellent and was funny and a normal guy, not some jerk peddling bikes without a care for the buyer. All in all, I'm grateful for the price and the entire start to finish buy from Hermy's. Thanks for the bike and...
Read moreThe experience was better than Disney! Let me explain. The mechanic and the folks at Hermy's were almost waiting for us to arrive. First they helped us unload the LT. They pushed the bike up onto the mechanic's stand, I showed the mechanic the parts, and I asked if he would also look into the cruise control(as it wasn't working). He said we had run the wires incorrectly, and I said I had done that. He took the throttle parts out of the bag, and then asked if I would like to wait around for the bike as he would need a couple of hours! REALLY??? When we came back from lunch the tech was checking the cruise control circuit and said the front brake switch was working, sometimes, and asked if he could replace it. I asked if he had parts in stock, they did! In 2.3 hours later they helped us load the bike and we were off! The BEST experience I have every had at a dealership in 41 years! Can't say enough about my experience at Hermy's, well worth the extra distance for a knowledgeable, experienced mechanic, and support staff. If I have any further issues I will be back to let...
