The Brazilian Wax Spa — Local services in Port Orange

I had seen this place driving by -- and after having a bad experience at another place, I decided to give them a try.

Their website is easy to navigate and booking is easy -- just have your card ready. Because I didn't have my card ready I called and made an appoint and was lucky to get one the same day.

When I walked in, I was immediately impressed. There was someone behind the desk and the waiting area is quaint and spotless!

I arrived right at my appointment time and after filling out the paperwork, I was told they were ready.

The room was a good size and also very clean. Something I appreciated was that they had a happy face on the end of the table where your head should go -- because you just never know -- everywhere is different.

The woman who did me was friendly and confident in what she was doing. You can tell she had a great deal of experience.

I used to travel a lot and finding a good wax person was always a challenge but I've been fortunate to have only had one negative experience -- and will say that my experience at The Brazilian Wax Spa was exceptional!

I will definitely be going back!

WORST wax I have ever had! I've been getting waxed for over a year now, but am new to the area and needed a new place to go. I found Brazilian Stylish Waxing on Groupon and decided to give it a try. First, I was taken to a room where the bed was pushed all the way against the wall, making it hard to butterfly my legs. But worse, she used BOTH hard and soft wax when giving me a Brazilian wax! She first used hard wax to remove the hair from the front, and then when she was done, she went back over it with soft wax, completely ripping my skin raw. She then did the back side with just two big strips of soft wax! Not only was it painful, but it burned for a solid 24 hours after, hurt to wipe for 3-4 days after, and I broke out in a REALLY bad rash. This place was fantastic. A little difficult to find, and once you pass it turning around is no easy feat, so I would reccomend leaving earlier than you need to. I went in for a full arm wax and my first brazillian. I had Sheyla, and she was wonderful. After looking at my skin, she highly recommended only doing half arms, because my upper arms were a bit sunburnt, and she did not want to further irriatate the area. She could have acted like other salons and said to herself, "oh well, she signed the waiver," and do the full arm for the extra money. However, it was very clear that they really care about their clients and their well-being. After she waxed my lower arm, she put aloe on it and rubbed the aloe on my sunburn too. 😂 As far as the Brazilian goes, she talked me through step by step, and gave me a pallet on what to avoid in the next 48 hours.
