We found this place by mistake and after our first visit, we found the perfect dress for her sweet 16. She was wearing it as we discussed alterations. The length was to be shortened and the lace near the slit was supposed to be lowered to make the slit not as high. We specifically asked what the alterations were going to cost and the woman's exact answer was "They shouldn't be more than $25". We agreed and paid for the dress. This was on Saturday 11/11 and was told it would only take a couple days so we agreed to the alterations. On Thursday 11/16 I called and they said the dress was ready. No mention on alterations. I called back Friday around 10am and the woman said she wasn't at the shop and would call me when she got there. I heard nothing so I called back around 12 and they told me the alterations were $60. I attempted to explain that we were told $25. The woman ignored what I said and insisted they were $60. I again attempted to tell her what we were told and she didn't let me talk and said they would give us another dress and we can have it altered elsewhere. We don't have the time for that. She hung up. I called back later and attempted to discuss this again and they lowered it to $40. I was not happy but we needed that dress. We showed up Saturday 11/18 to pick up the dress and the first thing out of the woman's mouth was. "I talked to the owner and she said to charge you $28 for alterations.". I thought great they listening. They pulled out the dress and the alterations to the slit was not as we talked about. It was stitched shut with flowers and jewels lined the closed slit. My niece said she loved it so I didn't say anything. I now understand why they charged more and then went back to the original price, they performed alterations I did not approve. Fortunately she loved it and I didn't have to address it. The entire time we were in the store the 2nd time, their young girl followed us. We couldn't touch anything without her right there. The owner was so rude and unprofessional on the phone until she figured out that they had altered the dress different and we were lied to. I'm all about shopping small family owned businesses but will never shop this one again. Just beware of them making alterations that are not approved and charging you for it. Side note:. We didn't read other reviews because we stumbled onto this shop and didn't have it on our...

Story time: I went to go pick up wedding dress, I paid for the alterations during my last visit but was refused to be allowed to leave with my dress. When I walked in the girl knew who I was and which dress was mine and said " I was just about to call you your dress is ready" when i tried to leave she said she needed to call the lady that helped me so I can be properly charge me. I explained to her that I already paid and nothing was added to my dress. She then told me she has no proof that I paid so she needed to call the 2nd girl who was not answering her phone. I pulled out my $142.00 receipt that was stapled to their business card and signed by the worker. This chick then argued that my purchase had nothing to do with her so I needed to wait or pay $50 for the work that was done. The owner was upstairs listening but did not come down to help or solve the problem. After a few minutes of back and forth arguing the owner finally said "just let her have it". They're all rude there and they charged me $140 to hem up my dress and cut off the train which took them 8 weeks to do and the quality was terrible and my straps were dirty, beads were falling off... 4 weeks til my wedding and this is what happens. Do not trust this...
