I recently visited this business with the intention of viewing a specific ring. When I asked to see it, the employee initially refused, laughed, and then showed it to me. I asked what type of metal the ring was set in, and he told me it was sterling silver. I politely explained that I wasn't interested in sterling silver. He immediately became defensive, insisting that it wouldn't tarnish because it was coated with rhodium.

When I explained that, despite the rhodium coating, sterling silver can still tarnish over time, he questioned whether I even knew what rhodium was. I responded that I did, but his tone only became more hostile.

What was most concerning was how the conversation abruptly shifted. Although we were discussing jewelry, he told me I could leave because he “could already tell I was Left,” turning a simple interaction into something unnecessarily political. After hearing me speak Spanish on the phone, he added a racially charged comment, suggesting I “go to Jalisco’s.”

If I could leave 0 stars I would. They are extremely racist to Mexicans and the quality of their customer service reflects that. They were constantly stereotyping me for being Mexican and made me feel less than as a customer. They told me they were gonna up charge me because i was Mexican and laughed at it. They think they can get away with saying these rude and disrespectful things to strangers because his “wife is Mexican”. It took 3 months for them to finish a resizing and engraving. When dropped off they would say it would take a week and that extended to three months. When they would answer their phones calls on the phone they were unprofessional and rude. They would say my item would be done in a couple days and when I would call later they told me nobody told me to do that and basically that I was crazy because they don’t give time estimates. I can tell already they will respond with snarky remarks and will take no responsibility for themselves as this is their pattern. Clearly this little shop believes they are always right and the customer (if they don't agree with the service provided) is always wrong.

I went to them for some custom work. They gave me a deadline, and when that deadline came and passed, I started calling regularly (every other week) to check on the progress of my order.
