Corner Consignment — Local services in Portsmouth

I really want to like this store. It’s a cute set up and they have nice things. Unfortunately, customer service is pretty terrible. I’ve been in multiple times and it’s always the same. Today when I stopped in looking for a formal the two employees were sitting on chairs eating and showing each other photos on their phones. There was zero greeting or asking if they could help. When I went to leave there was no “thanks for stopping by”. I felt like I was an inconvenience and interrupting their lunch. Not sure if this typical customer service one RI as I’m not from here but it’s really unfortunate....

This place is a treat to the senses from the minute you enter the door. The clothes are displayed in such a way that you can imagine yourself in "that" outfit, from head to toe. The clothes are priced reasonably and are high end. I got the feeling that I was right at home with my daughter, as the staff was young and friendly, and knowledgeable to guide me to good looking outfits that would bring out my beauty. It was an absolutely fashion fun shopping time. I look forward to shopping...

This is really a consignment store for older women, but I have been able to find a few pieces here over the years. The prices are various ranges, probably generally around $20. They have a dog in that is quite rambunctious but they asked if I was ok with digs before taking it off the lead. The dog did jump up on me and scratched my chest leaving some red marks, but I didn’t...
