Been a loyal customer to Verizon. However after today I don't want what happened to us to happen to anyone else. We only went in to get an upgrade on my dad's phone. Beware of the manager Sam. He was very nice greated us and everything however after what happened he is a true sales man and sneaky. Ricky our salesman can't say enough he was great five 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 right from the start. Explaining everything. However Sam kept intervening with trying to GIVE us free things that wouldn't effect the bill. When we went back to get the phone he told my dad he was giving him a Bluetooth which wasn't going to cost. He sold my dad a hum. Which has monthly payments and everything else. He said he gave a ten dollar credit so it wouldn't cost. Ricky our original sales man was having lunch and from my point of view cut him out sold a two year plan to my dad did not get authorization from me since it's my account and told my dad it was a Bluetooth. Should let you know my dad's upgrade was on his flip phone! I got the bill and notices of the changes on the account there was more issues of things taken off that shouldn't and divces add that should not have been. I called Verizon direct to go over my account. I lucked out I caught it on the 13 day. I could have been locked into things I never agreed to at all for two years! Sam was shocked when I walked in and couldn't believe I had already gotten a bill. I have to say thanks though Verizon has my back to letting me know when things happen to my account! Read moreAfter having a fiasco with trying to get my iPhone 7 phone screen fixed, I gave up and decided to just get a whole new phone. I was about eight days away from the drop date for the new iPhone 8 and decided why not, so Craig helped me out and ordered me the new iPhone 8 plus because I thought why not get the bigger one with the extra camera? As soon as my phone arrived the guys were stellar at helping me set it up. Craig got me a screen protector and a rubber case for my new phone and I was set! Well, maybe five days later, I decided the plus was just too big for me and my short, stubby fingers and my pockets so I called back and asked if I could get the regular iPhone 8 instead. I was still within my 14-day return period so I was able to get a new one ordered right away. Originally the iPhone 8 was backed up so it was going to be a while before it came in. Nope! The Guys here must have sacrificed some old Samsung or Motorola phones to get my iPhone 8 here much faster. Not even a week after I ordered it, it arrived. I came in and Ivan and Sam hooked up my 8 plus and got everything switched over to my 8 in less than an hour. The guys here are not only professional but they are personal as well and will definitely give you all the help you need, within the realm of wireless support anyway. I am getting charges they told me I would not, was told that the cover I bought for my phone was compatible with a wireless charger and it was not. I had to buy another one. I was told that the contacts in my phone would reappear and they did not. The woman I bought the phone with knew nothing about the works of it. I asked for help two days after the purchase when nothing was working properly, and was met with sarcasm about turning up the volume. I took my new phone to Go Wireless in the Walmart shopping plaza and it took about an hour to get the phone to do what it is supposed to do, thanks to the manager there. Do not go to this store.They are there to sell and the staff changes constantly so there is no recourse when it goes wrong.There are good reviews here but must be from friends or for past staff. Nobody owns up to anything because that person you dealt with is gone.
