I only checked out the records part of the store, but they also sell and buy Legos. They also have a minor section with CD’s and clothes (band T’s), but the focus is on records.

Vinyl selection is organized, and most of them are graded and priced accordingly. Just a note that I only picked up NM (Near Mint) records for older records, but grading seems a little too generous here as one of the records had many visible scratches when you hold it under the light and you can hear them when playing (for comparison, I don’t see NM grading as common in other record shops). I picked up a handful of records here.

Rockin' Ruby's is my favorite thing to happen in North Kitsap this year. The vinyl selection and layout is exceptional and fairly priced, and that would be enough for me. But then there are also the legos and other cool collectables to keep my husband happy while I'm looking through records for an hour. Are you really going to spend an hour in this little shop? For sure, at least. Because the vibe in the space is joyful and chill, there are bargain record bins and trays full of lego pieces to search, there is coffee if you're thirsty and great conversation to be had about any little thing you are looking for or love. Just can't say enough about this "gem" of a shop! The owners actually like customers AND music. There is not an ounce of pretense - just a genuine desire to share information and passion for their business. I was especially impressed with the ethical business practices and the way my teens were included and consider and spoken to like humans. We are thrilled to finally get a chance to stop in and we cannot wait to come back! Records, instruments, a listening station, even rarities like reel to reel.
