Note: This review is NOT after being asked to write a review, nor is it following initial implementation. It comes following 6 months (November 2023) since the initial install and several add-ons to our Control4 system since then, including full audio/visual with 9 different zones, Samsung Frame TVs, whole-home lighting controls, voice recognition integration with Alexa, and sunshades. Typically, people only spend the time to write a review when they’re angry or when there’s something in it for them. I have found myself very rarely writing Google reviews about businesses, but I feel obligated to write this one because of how well this business has treated my home and family! So here it goes…

I can't say enough positive things about Crescendo AAV. From the initial installation to every 24/7 service call, they have consistently exceeded expectations! Their team of onsite and remote technicians are not only professional but also incredibly helpful, ensuring that every minor issue is resolved promptly and efficiently.

What sets Crescendo apart is their personalized approach. Jeremy, the owner, goes above and beyond to not only understand your needs but also to build a relationship. He's taken the time to get to know my family (my 3-year-old gave him a hell-of-a memory the day after Christmas, ask him about it if you meet him in person after reading this review 🙈), which speaks volumes about the level of care they provide. Heck, he even dropped me off at my vehicle that was ready for pick-up at the service shop after one of our appointments!

Control4 is an incredible automation system, but like any other home automation system on the market, it requires upkeep / maintenance. That said, the system is only as good as the provider. We had Control4 at our previous home and didn’t think twice to implement it at the one we recently purchased. The installer for our previous home was hard to reach after implementation, and they were very slow to respond to service calls (they are now out of business). We switched service providers to Crescendo for the previous home, then later moved to our new one and had them move with us!

Work done: Installed surround sound, 60" LED TV over fireplace, outdoor patio speakers & universal remote. He also installed an existing TV over our refrigerator on an articulating mount and mounted another existing TV on the wall in our office. He did this in late July 2014 before we moved into the home we had just purchased. Installed security camera system and recorder.This was done in September 2014 Opinion of company: I am very pleased with their knowledge and professionalism. Jeremy's prices for equipment were competitive and he had already done the research on what the best equipment is to suit our needs. We told him what our desires were for our new home and he came back with a quote that was fair. The price listed in this review is the total for both installations. We just had them done at separate times. He programmed our universal remote so anyone who is not tech savvy could still work the system (and he took the time to show us how to use it and to tweak the system to our preferences). He set up 2 zones for the audio so we can have the surround sound speakers with the TV in the living room and listen to the audio from that or something different on the patio. My husband questioned whether we really needed the outdoor speakers when I asked to have them installed but I think that is probably one of his favorite features now :-) Crescendo stands behind their work and are very service oriented. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I've known Jeremy for several years because he has done many installations for my employer. I can’t say enough positive things about this company. I am a DIY guy all the way. My first attempt at putting together a first class theatre room turned out quite well but when it came time for an upgrade, I decided to splurge and go with a Pro outfit. What a difference. Fast forward two years. I have been seeking a way to darken my theatre room. Although the picture on our laser projection television is good, ambient light is never welcome. Our initial efforts to darken the room with black out shades was successful but not perfect. I really wanted this room to be dark, like a cave. Jeremy has had his finger on the technology pulse and finally a system became available that could fulfill my dream. The Crescendo team has come through again. This time the team was led by Ed.
