THE DOUGH HOUSE-We simply changed our name from Kolache Kitchen Airline — Restaurant in Louisiana

I went here to pick up an order for someone and the employee Big Dee greeted me with a big smile as soon as I walked through the door. He made me feel so welcomed. After I told him the name of the person that I was picking up the order for, he let me know the ETA and asked me if I would like a beverage while I wait. After I got my drink, he asked me if I had ever had one of their kolaches before and I told him that I hadn’t..so he asked if I would like to try one..now usually I’m skeptical about trying new things but he was so nice that I gave it a try. He gave me one of the Turkey, chipotle, garlic & Swiss kolaches and when I tell you it was so freaking scrumptious. It melted right in my mouth!!! After that I got the classic sausage plus cheese, ham plus cheese and bacon plus cheese kolacheeeee! Was definitely worth it! I definitely will be going back to this place! The workers there are so friendly & the food is great!! I highly recommend any and everyone to try this place!! I haven’t tried all of the locations yet, just the Airline location in Baton Rouge!...

I live near the Jefferson location and by 10:30 am they are out of everything!

I love driving the extra 10 min to Airline. Bucky and his wife working with their team are so friendly. It’s night and day from the other location! I walked in and I’m greeted right away by everyone. They have the entire menu available. I was getting it to go order, but I witnessed a couple that was selecting a table, and one of the workers letting them know that she was going to clean the table that they wanted to sit at. I was able to talk directly to Becky today. He wasn’t too busy running around working. And I told him that he ran a great store and he immediately turned it around and said that it was all his teams doing.

Another thing that I hadn’t really realized before, but was pointed out to me while I was in the store. Today was the fact that everything on the menu is relatively cheap. Some of the kolache’s are what you would pay for a gas station breakfast sandwich.

The Dough House (previously Kolache Kitchen) has some of the best customer service I've experienced. No, really. They treat each customer like family, taking your name when you first order, and amazingly remember folks who are repeat visitors (like me). They're always so happy to see me come back and know it's me simply by what I order. My sister has had the same experience. On occasion, they'll also throw in extras with your order (today I was treated to a whole bag of Kolaches).

The food is consistently good. I especially love their frozen Vietnamese coffee and fruit kolaches. They're my go-to for treating out of towners to breakfast (they're typicallyunfamiliarwith Kolaches) - and everyone is always impressed!

If you haven't given this place a go... you're missing out! My recommendation: cheese & apple kolache and a hazelnut frozen Vietnamese coffee!
