GEL NAIL SPA — Local services in Prince Frederick

I went in today to get some Valentine’s Day pampering. I called early and got an appointment right away . From the outside it looks a little rough but inside is comfortable and cute . My pedicure experience with I wanna say (Kelly?) was phenomenal. She was extremely attentive and so sweet , I was so relaxed. Probably the best pedicure I’ve gotten in a while . My manicure on the other hand ….. yikes . I’m the kind of person that is too nice to say anything , cause I don’t wanna hurt someone’s feelings . I got a full set , French tips . I didn’t want powder but they did powder anyway I just wanted white tips with clear acrylic. The guy (I’m assuming the owner?) was intimidating, and seemed annoyed the whole time that’s why I was scared to speak up. Coming home my nails HURT , like physically hurt and I am stuck with something im not quite happy with . Like I said , my pedicure experience was 10/10 but my nails im unsatisfied with . This was the WORST experience I have ever had. By the end of the conversation I tried to have with the bald man who I assume owns the spa says that “as soon as you walked in the door I knew you would be difficult.” What I asked for was very simple medium length almond nails. What I got were “shark teeth or cat claws” as my cousin and aunt say lol. When I washed my hands I noticed my finger was cut and bleeding I mentioned it saying I didn’t want my nails finished. I asked for them to be soaked off so I could go somewhere else and instead the man yelled at me claiming he didn’t cut me and it was my fault. He told me to never come back to the salon because he “wasted so much time” it took him 10 minutes tops to do the entire base and file. They are PAPER thin. He was too worried about making phone calls to connect his data to his cell phone. Should have been at least an hour will never go here again...

my experience here was HORRIBLE . i don’t know his name ,, but the guy working on my manicure cut me ,, threw/shoved my hands ,, applied the nails on crooked ,, ( the tips of the nails are crooked && angled ,, i wanted coffin-shaped acrylic nails ) && when he asked for the length i wanted ,, he didn’t even give me time to speak before he snipped off a piece ! the girls there were great with applying nail polish ,, except they literally stared at you making you feel so uncomfortable && the lamps they use to dry your nails literally burnt SO bad ,, it felt like i was laying the top of my hand on a hot stove or pooring boiling water over my hand . in the end ,, we paid $100 . literally the day after && my hands are so sore ! never again will i let my family waste money at...
