I have made a few purchases for my parents and it had been a very pleasant experience. My parents have made several purchases as well. ( we have always dealt with John). However this week I went in with my mom made a purchase with a delivery for today between 11-12. John knows dad so I said let’s give an extra hour. Delivery was supposed to be between 11-1. John laughed and said ok. So that time frame came and went with no delivery or phone call. My parents called and was told someone was bringing it now. 3 hours laters still no delivery and my dad called and said no one still had showed up. ( now the time is 4:15 pm ) I called and spoke with Josh who was very nice and apologized but was not aware of a delivery today. He said they don’t do deliveries on Friday’s. Josh said that he sent his warehouse guy out 30 minutes ago. I let Josh know we no longer now wanted the table and to please call the warehouse guy and let him know and that I would be in tomorrow for a refund. Josh said that he understood. I let Josh know that John could call me if he wanted. Shortly John called me with an aggressive tone wanting to know what the problem was. I stated that we had not received the delivery when promised and John stated that he told me yesterday they don’t deliver on Friday’s and that he was doing this as a favor. ( That was never told to me ). John stated that since he was doing this as favor he didn’t think the time of delivery really mattered.. I told him that the time wouldn’t have mattered if a time frame hadn’t been given. John then stated that it was real simple either we wanted the delivery or a refund. He stated that the table was loaded and that it was ready for delivery. I informed him like I did Josh that we didn’t want the table and that I will be on tomorrow morning for a refund. Read moreWe bought a refrigerator last Friday. We went in and was immediately greeted with a smile and "Hi, what can I help you with?" from Anthony. He took us to the refrigerator section, explained all the features and benefits of the one we wanted in detail. Our purchasing experience took less than 15 minutes and he made sure we were completely satisfied before we left. His final words were " thank you for coming in today and thank you for buying from of. If there is anything you need, any problems or questions, here is my card. Feel free to call about anything at any time." Deluvery was set up for Monday. The driver called 15 minutes ahead of time to let us know they were on their way. Once here there were issues with it fitting through the door. They immediately grabbed a drill and took our front door off and were very careful and took their time inching the fridge in the door so as not to damage anything. Once they were done installing they very quickly put the door back on and they were very professional yet friendly and patient. On Tuesday we realized the fridge wasn't working right. I called Anthony. Within 10 minutes he and his manager had set up for another fridge to be delivered the next morning. By 10:00 our new fridge was delivered, installed and is running great! She purchased her items and asked for help getting them installed. We fully understood that no king employees were installers but hoped they could assist in finding an installer. Nope. That didn’t happen. They provided no help with that. It seemed wrong to me that they would sell something to an elderly widow knowing she didn’t have resources to install and didn’t provide a list of recommended installers or even know of any installers. That is not customer service, that is take their money and run. I called and complained to the manager but I don’t think this practice will change.
