Majestic House Restaurant — Restaurant in Princeton

We have eaten here several times, but the hostess seated us at a wobbly table today. We were ignored after I asked my family and me to be re-seated. The staff went passive (only doing the bare minimum), our food came out later than several people before us, and I was served my salad several minutes after the rest of my family was served.

The restaurant was busy, but the staff was lax. Our waitress was mousey, quiet, and didn't smile or look anyone in the eye. No one was hospitable or thanked us for our business. The hostess never asked me if everything was okay at the end when I paid. I paid a 20% tip but immediately regretted it because they didn't earn it. We will never make the drive to go to this restaurant again.

The food itself was okay (it could have been better), but it is too expensive these days to put up with lousy service and passive-aggressive behavior! Fix your tables, and don't expect customers to put up with...

We went here for a birthday dinner with family. The food was really good. The appetizer wasn't great. The sauce for the fried cheese sticks tasted kind of watery. The rest of the food was very good. The salad was delicious and the kids chicken tenders were huge so we knew there was going to be leftovers but the chicken and fries were really good. The majestic burger looked so good and they added extra bacon. The onion rings were fantastic.

The service was very good. They made sure we had everything we needed. The server had a trainee with her and they both were super sweet.

Tried this place after many, many attempts and I was not disappointed. It's a nice, clean, cozy restaurant with good staff and pretty good food. I had the Philly cheese steak and while I don't think most places around here serve a " true" Philly cheese steak. This was as close as I have found and a lot bigger than other places. It is made with very thinly sliced sirloin steak in a hoagie roll and covered in cheese. The flavor is good although not enough spices for my tastes, but that is just me. I like a lot of garlic etc. Next visit I will test out one of the steaks. Beware Majestic House I am extremely picky...
