Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Princeton

This is by far the worst sonic in western ky. I would have rated it zero stars if google would allow it. It took 45 minutes for us to get our order. While trying to order when we would hit the red order button instead of taking our order they'd wait 5 minutes and then clear it like we never pushed the order button. We went through 3 or 4 rounds of that. I should have left then but I didn't. When we finally got our food 45 minutes after arriving it was all cold and we didn't receive the appropriate sauces. In our order we had a medium order of mozzarella sticks with ranch, a small order of mozzarella sticks with marinara, and an order of cheddar peppers with ranch. They gave us all ranch. No big deal. I hit the order button and asked for a single container of marinara. We were all starving so I didn't even mention that all the food was cold. I sure wasn't going to wait another 45 minutes for them to redo the order. The worker who I believe was the manager proceeded to argue with me claiming she put a marinara in the bag. There wasn't one. I told her she was more than welcome to come look in the bag or my entire car if she'd like because there was not a single marinara. She then tried to tell me I would have to pay for the sauce because it was "extra". I wasn't asking for extra. I was asking for a single sauce to go with my order of mozerella sticks. Why would the customer have to pay a second time for the sauce that was supposed to be included in the original order? Once she realized I wasn't going to back down she brought out a sauce free of charge. My family won't be back anytime soon. Well, I've had my first Sonic experience. After countless views of the 2 idiots on TV; tonight was the night. Pam and I passed it many times for "healthy options" but we were just hungry and there it was. I pulled into the car slot and immediately had a major American Graffiti vibe. The menu is on a 60" TV screen which was limited but had all the goodies one needed for fast food. You push a red button and give your order to the host over a speaker. I went with 2 chili dog cheese add onion, wife went with the no.1 cheese burger single dressed hold the ketchup fries and a drink. You pay with a card like at a gas pump and can track the service graphically from kitchen to car. Lil Kristen got the food out hot, fast, and cheap but surprisingly good. The dogs were all beef and had a good bite to them the chili was mild and tasty. The buns were warm and tender. Highly recommend the chili dog cheese. I went to Sonic Drive In on a Saturday night. Business was booming! I could barely find a parking space. I love Sonic, they have great food, and this location is no exception. Their prices, though, are absolutely outrageous. You have to pay 6 bucks for a double burger, then you have to tip the carhop! I know that there a drive-in so they're supposed to mimic old school drive-ins, but their prices are anything but old school. For example, if you pay 6 bucks for a double cheeseburger, you can get a McDouble at McDonald's 4 less than 2 bucks, and you don't have to tip the person that serves you! Of course, the food is not even on the same level of Sonic's food, but both Burgers fill your stomach nonetheless.
