The Princeton Closet — Local services in Princeton

I entered this establishment thinking it was a thrift store. Boy was I wrong. For whatever reason they treat this place like an antique store posting eBay ads on many items showing what they “go for” and price items in accordance with these ads. There are times that you can find items at thrift store prices but those times are few and far between. I’m not sure if different employees price things. Some being reasonable and some thinking they’re pricing items at Macy’s.

The same sentiment goes for whoever works the cash registers. Some days they’re super kind and inviting. Other times they’re grumpy old women that argue with you over the price of something (always wanting more than...

Very disappointed in The Closet. They advertise clearly that they gladly take furniture, and then when I show up with this deluxe $150 cat litter box hide away piece of furniture… they don’t want it. The guys in back couldn’t have cared less.

Their loss, as I donated it down the street to Finders Keepers who gladly took it (and said “wow, that’s nice!).

I am very disappointed!!! I was going to stop by for my 1st visit ever with them. But only come to princeton on Tuesdays for drs.Appt and as I was researching about the store and reading reviews they are closed Tuesdays. Oh well it's their loss I have 6 grandkids so clothing is on my mind for them all just to play in the ones old enough get much better clothes for school...
