Stopped here while we were in the area for dinner. No reservations around 5:00 on a Saturday evening. Nice "Supper club" atmosphere. We were able to get seated pretty quickly, but it seemed like we may have been lucky in that regard without a reservation. Steaks are all the same price, a novel idea, adjusted for quality merely by weight of the cut. It's around $34 if you cook it yourself on their large charcoal grill area, two bucks extra if you have them cook it. The salad bar, which was fresh and good but smaller, is included and all you care to eat. My wife got the filet, I the sirloin 20-22oz), and our youngest the kids burger. Everything was good, flavor of the steak was very good, but being a sirloin was a bit over done and not too tender. That said, it's a sirloin after all. The filet didn't have the same characteristics, being a smaller, higher quality cut. Definitely will be back, but maybe I'll go with a strip next time. Update: I went with the Kansas City strip on another trip. I found it to be very juicy, flavorful, and as tender as you would expect from this cut. I also had the seasonings added this time. It's basically Montreal steak seasoning, good but a little over powering for my taste. I may revert back to the unseasoned selection on my next visit, but there is bound to be...
Read moreFirst and foremost this is my first visit and it wonât be my last! I drove 2 hours to try this place! Outstanding! I love to read reviews as well and I donât understand the negative ratings the whole point of this restaurant is to try a new experience and cook your own steak which is such a great new experience! I saw a few with to go orders on how their steak was âwell doneâ I donât think some understand that meat continues to cook after itâs cook so order it a little less to your liking in my opinion OR just dine in and experience this place like itâs meant to be experienced. Honestly!!! Where can you go and get a fat juicy steak đ„© OF YOUR CHOICE and cook it to your liking with a salad bar, potato and Texas toast for $35! Iâm waitingâŠ. No where! No matter the choice of steak you choose youâre eating good, getting your moneys worth and then some!! Great idea for a restaurant! The service was good, I love the old fashioned themed just brings back 90âs nostalgic, the steak selection was great! NY strip, ribeyes, sirloins, fillets etc If youâre a horrible cook itâs OK! You can try it out if itâs not for you then have the chefs cook it for you. But itâs so fun to cook it yourselves so I highly recommended you try it! Prime quarter great place yall!! Iâll be back...
Read moreOur dinner experience here tonight was less than prime. First we were cut off the entrance by a hostess who Iâm assuming was late. We had 6:00 reservations and they sat the group with 6:30 reservations first. Our waitress then was double seated and dealt with the 6:30 group first so it took her 15 minutes to get water on the table and another 10 to get drinks and our order put in. We then attended the salad/baked potato bar which was actually great! They had restocked everything right before we got up there so the salad bar was great and the potatoes were hot. We also found amazing potato salad! My dad cooked his own steak but it was not tender at all so he thinks it wasnât the best prime cut of meat. We ended the night with having to ask for a to go box 3 times and timed how long it took them to clean off the table next to ours (around 30 min). Lastly, like all other places inflation is happening and they have increased their cook your own steaks to $34.95. We have been coming to prime quarter for a long time and although it seems they were short staffed and our waitress was struggling, we canât justify paying the new price for this type...
