Absolutely love BAMM! I learnt about this through a friend and decided to come in for a trial class. I signed up THAT night! My son is only 15 months but during his last class I noticed he is starting to take instruction such as putting instruments away, going to get instruments, clapping, dancing. These little things have carried through at home where he is helping to put toys away, food away, dishes in the dishwasher. The teachers are simply amazing and so very kind there (it’s truly like a live Ms. Rachel! lol) I love Ms. Camryn and Ms. Nina!! Their voices are beautiful and they are extremely talented in how they can get through to the kiddos. I am also shocked how they remember all the kids names week to week. This time together is so special for my son and I though because it’s our fun little mid week treat just him and I also! Sometimes we’ll stop and get pizza next door as a treat after class just to make the night truly that more special and he LOVES it. I’m very grateful to have found a place like this at a very reasonable and affordable monthly price. Being a one income family makes it has been difficult finding activities we can afford to do and this has fit in perfectly for us and our little family. Thank you BAMM family we love you all!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!!! And make it a night you both remember - grab pizza...
Read moreMy daughter and I started Ms Clara's music classes when she was 3, prior to the pandemic. My daughter enjoyed class and came home enthusiastic to sing all of the new music. It has been almost 2 years and I enrolled her again. New format, outside, social distanced, older class so without a parent, and with a new teacher. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as her reaction. Ms Katherine engaged the kids with this awesome idea of coloring and naming musical terminology, Allegro and Largo, by Ali Allegro and Largo turtle (fast and slow) and my daughter instantly understood the concept. It was truly amazing! Also, within 5 minutes, my daughter told me "you can go now, mom..." Ms. Katherine has a lovely voice, communicates well with the kids, is welcoming, and enthusiastic. She engages the students in class with fun, music, and also has a way of incorporating an academic level to the art. My daughter says she is kind and has been asking almost every other day if we have music class today?? That is always a beautiful sound to my ears...when your child looks forward to going to a class...one in which they are excited about and enjoy. Thank you Ms Clara, Ms Amy, Ms Katherine and wonderful educators/music teachers. We...
Read moreMy son (age 2.5) was in the Mini Maestros and then Merry Maestros classes, and I saw a positive, monumental shift in his development. He greatly benefitted from the musical environment and developmentally appropriate activities. Each class engaged him, not only as an introduction to music, but in various areas of learning--gross motor, fine motor, language, social, and emotional skills. When we first started the program, I had concerns about his ability to stay attentive and follow directions in a class setting, especially after being a "pandemic baby" with little social interaction. After starting the program, he improved leaps and bounds, taking turns, being patient, and demonstrating his listening skills. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how much he's gained an interest in music, as well! He repeats the songs at home, practices his dance moves, and pretends to play instruments. The most interesting development I've seen is him making up his own songs now and even asking what instrument is playing when he listens to music. The classes at BAMM enhanced our parent-child relationship and were something we both looked forward...
