Dollar General — Local services in Proviso Township

I am a customer that comes to you all stores with a gray cart and a Aldi bag with only my personal items in there I always ask managers would you like me to leave my things behind the counter till I finish shopping I always get the answer no I went shopping this Sunday 12/15/2024 and the manager looking at me followed me I don’t want anything out you all stores accept what I purchase that makes me uncomfortable I spend money and get an UBER home every two weeks on a Sunday it depends your the only Dollar General close to me I have no car to go else where please let me know what to do thanks I take my time in your store looking cause it’s so much stuff and a small store not enough employees at all and the store opens at 8am Todays is Saturday 12/28/24 I went into you all store and this a Spanish cashier and Spanish manager she didn’t give me her name I had a problem with the understanding of clips and the coupons I am not understanding and the lady didn’t want to take me cause the line was long I was the first in line period I told her I am a paying customer I told them both too call Westchester police because I need to take my time figuring out my coupon the Purez 1N4 was reading $13 but $9.99 if you have a coupon or something but I had to do it from my APP I DO NOT KNOW WHY I HAVE A HARD TIME WHY SHOULD I LEAVE WHEN THIS THE ONLY DOLLAR GENERAL I AM CLOSE TOO THAT MANAGER SAID SHE NEEDED MY PHONE NUMBER I SAID THE CASHIER TELLING ME TO CLIP IT I DID NOT understand why the cashier didn’t ask me she said she did I told the manager I do not like to be lied on they rang me up to $89 I wound up putting the detergent back and dish washing liquid I still paid $65 and place my money on the counter cause the cashier had the worst attitude ever and the manager the manager told me to leave the store cause I held up the line I told her I don’t need you go check those customers out I am not leaving to I pay for my things why do they keep coming at me like this I have no problem with them but when you come at me disrespectful laughing in my face please play your cameras or check you all audio this is on going I am going to keep adding to this review until I get someone to...

Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming! They always have just about everything I need. FYI they have a $1 Aisle that's loaded with all kind of goodies from household goods, snacks, etc. Yep everything in that Aisle is $1 buck. Don't take my word check it out for yourself, you'll be glad you did✌🏾Special Shout Out To The Dollar General Team-Asst. Always pleased and always spend over $120 every time and never get anything free or coupons...everyone always ask why do I spend $100-$250 at a Dollar General but I have know bad answer and I see prices going up slowly and then I will be shopping less. But I can't ever make it on Saturday to use that $5 off coupon. That's all $5 and some things on sale or coupons online limit 1 . Don't upstand because I'm V.I.P....
