I typically do not do reviews but this poor experience warranted one. I visited this location today and when I walked in, I waited 2-3 minutes just to be acknowledged while no one else was in there but they had call in orders. OK, I thought to myself Iâll be patient. Finally, I ordered a small shrimp and chicken fried rice, simple enough that it shouldnât take too long to make as I was tired from a long day of work. I paid and got the buzzer with my order number on it and went out to the car. 20 minutes passed by and several people went in and out with large orders so Iâm thinking to myself âmy order should have been up by nowâ. I wait 5 more minutes for the buzzer to ring and it doesnât. I go inside and the lady tells me that itâll be up soon after I reminded her that I already ordered since she seemingly didnât remember taking my order a short time ago and tried to take my order again until I showed her the buzzer. I walk back to the car again and wait another 15 minutes. Tired of waiting for a simple small order of fried rice and seeing others leave with orders larger than mine, I go back in to see whatâs going. This time the guy asks my order number after again trying to retake my order and goes into the kitchen. He returns and asks âwhat did you order?â I told him and then asked if my food had even started being made, already knowing the answer after waiting so long and he says they got busy and lost my WALK-IN ticket but they can remake it within 10-15 minutes, I demanded my money back and left with no food and several days to wait for my money to be refunded to my card. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE nor would I recommend the Wing restaurant next to it as they are owned by the same people. I will never return because of the poor customer service shown by...
Read moreCustomer service can make or break new (and/or returning) customers. New China Wok's customer service is horrible and the delivery driver is the worse. The 2 stars is for the food, which isnt too bad.
The delivery driver even has the audacity to ask for a tip. He would ask for a tip before speaking. He doesnt even speak, which I thought was common courtesy. Tips are given when earned.
They do not read or maybe choose not to understand the delivery instructions despite how clear it is communicated on the website or when it is texted to their phone. The delivery driver arrived way earlier than scheduled and then obnoxiously blew the horn upon arrival. When delivering the food, he felt the need to argue and threatened to take the food back (while processing my card) as if I was going to miss a meal without having their food. He wanted me to rush to the door because he had other orders to take care of while he was asked to wait ~3 minutes. I reached out to who was supposed to be management and his reponse was percieved as if it is normal behavior for the driver. This is unacceptable. I shouldve known better by supporting this...
Read moreHorrible customer service. Wife and I ordered delivery 30 minutes prior to closing time. Food arrived and both meals were not what we ordered. They gave us Mongolian Beef and Beef with broccoli when we ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Sesame Chicken. Ordered White Rice received Chicken Fried Rice with both entrees which was tasteless and greasy. Ordered 2 Spring Rolls received 1 Spring Roll 1 Egg Roll. When we called them the next day early afternoon to let them know of the mix up was asked if we still had the screwed up order from the night before. Of course we don't as we threw it out since we don't eat beef. Was told "if we cannot see the order in person we cannot do anything because our receipt shows you got what you ordered". HELLO people we have ordered many many times before and never had an issue. The one time we do have a problem we were told "we cannot do anything since you don't have food that you can show me and prove it". Will NEVER order from New China Wok again. Order from Jays or...
