A friend of mine went to the Port Charlotte Publix and tried to order a cake celebrating the inauguration of Donald J Trump, the managers and the bakery department refused to write Donald J Trump on the cake. I called my local Publix here on Burnt Store Rd. in 41, which by the way is one of the best Publix in the entire area And talked to the bakery department. There is also a strip mall in this shopping center with a wide selection of businesses including a Publix grocery store, Publix Liquor Store, State Farm Insurance Agency, Subway, Lovely Nail Salon, and Great Cllips Hair Salon. Also, The Shipping Store offerss UPS shipping, fax and copy services.. They also sell US postage stamps, and a variety of unique gift items. The Parking Lot has several handicap and wheelchair accessible parking spaces. The buildings, parking lot, and grounds appear to be well maintained. I have known this place for 16 years. My first job in Florida was at a restaurant located in this building. Lot of things have change: the restaurant is gone and the building has been restored and renovated. The whole aspect of the building is change and also the parking lot.
