We finally checked this place out. :) Pretty happy we did. Majority of the Chinese restaurants in Punta Gorda just don't seem that fresh or flavorful at least in my opinion. I like that they have a blend of Chinese and Thai dishes. They have a large menu for such a small place! They offer sushi as well.
We ordered Kani Salad (crab & cucumber salad with crunchy topping), Crab Rangoon, Side of fries for the kiddos, Green Curry with Shrimp & Orange chicken entree(s) for take out. Thai tea was great, not overly sweetened = perfection! Every item was unique and had great flavors. All was ready in about 15 minutes.
My curry was top notch! Lots of mixed veggies which I LOVE; carrots, bamboo, onion, zucchini, mushrooms. It's my perfect amount of spicy ( not sure if spiciness is customizeable) but was great on top of the rice it came with. 🌶
Decent sized portions!
Orange chicken came with steamed broccoli & rice. The dish had orange peels in it which to me leads me to believe in more natural flavorings which is very much appreciated.
Over all no complaints, My husband and I are satiated and so happy to have spent our money with them.

Read moreThe restaurant has a nice lobby and the two employees there today, 04/15/2024, were very nice. No issues there, however, the food we received was lackluster. The red curry was off-tasting, and it was missing basil and had no spice. It looked as though it had red food coloring in it to simulate the redness of curry paste. It was a very disappointing red curry dish. The white rice was fine.
The sweet and sour chicken was much too sweet in the breading, it tasted like funnel cake covering chicken. The sauce was chunky and not smooth. The fried rice was bland, very little flavor outside of it tasting like white rice that had been caramelized through cooking.
Will not return and cannot recommend this establishment for these two...
Read moreMiso soup had no real flavor, but my wife liked it and ate both our bowls. Ordered teriyaki chicken and steak, and teriyaki steak and shrimp. They served half the table first. My wife finished her plate and was looking hungrily at mine when it finally arrived. Normally at a Chinese restaurant we split plates with our two young children and have leftovers. Here, everybody left less than satisfied, yet no one seemed interested in ordering more food. The teriyaki had almost no taste, the vegetable fried rice looked like white rice with this mornings scramble eggs mixed in. Overall yet another disappointing budget...
