I regularly go to this Subway because it is close to where I work. I usually order a Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap with lots of the shredded cheddar blend (like extra x3). One of the managers, Sarah, picked up on this after a couple of times of me ordering the same thing and started telling me she no longer had the shredded cheddar blend. Total lie. I went in today after not eating at this Subway for awhile and ordered my usual and when she asked me what cheese I wanted I said "I would like a regular amount of the shredded cheddar blend, not extra." I was trying to be considerate since some of the other Subway employees had told me she complained about her cheddar blend inventory being way messed up. I figured I would just get a regular amount and add on a regular amount of sliced American to make it cheesy but not screw up her inventory. Well as soon as I told her what cheese I wanted she started saying that the shredded cheddar blend was no longer allowed to go on the wraps. I knew this was also a lie because I had literally just gotten the same thing from another Subway in town the day before without issues, complaints, or attitude. So I kind of weakly say "I didn't even want extra, just the regular amount." (I almost wanted to cry TBH). So Sarah proceeds to then turn her back on me, yank the cheese out of the fridge, slam the container and lid on the counter, and drop a PINCH of cheese on my wrap. You read that right! LITERALLY A SINGLE PINCH OF CHEESE! After seeing how little cheese she put on my wrap I asked for extra sliced American seeing as she put only two tiny slices of that as well. That thankfully went over just fine but I still ended up walking to Publix next door and paying $5 for the cheese I should have gotten at Subway. I am very, very dissatisfied and I have never ever in my life been treated so poorly by an employee of a restaurant. I always try to be very polite and nice to service workers because I know how awful those jobs can be at times, I did not give her attitude, I spoke to her quietly and respectfully and she proceeded to act like a 2 year old. I'm sorry but this woman is a manager and needs to be fired. If she worked under me and I saw her give a paying customer attitude I would have fired her right then and there. No customer deserves to pay for a product that isn't right and then receive attitude from the MANAGER on top of that. Hopefully this woman is fired so she can't treat other customers like this. This is not the experience people pay money to have. I will not go back to this Subway until I know she is not...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible service and appalling conditions. Two people were working, one making sandwiches and the other standing at the register watching. The customer in front of me needed 4 sandwiches which were made one at a time, That is clear to any regular Subway customer that it's not the way its usually done. It just takes too long. To make matters worse, we spend 30 seconds on each sandwich watching the toaster. After 10 minutes and two sandwiches are complete I was getting frustrated and start looking around. I noticed flies all over the food and it was about 90⁰ in the store, but neither of those things seemed to bother the employees. I was kinda grossed out by then so rather than investing another 10 minutes I left. I chalk the acceptance of the flies and the elevated temps up to culture differences. . Otherwise, it causes the sub to split and fall apart. I also requested that she un-clump the veggies and spread end to end. We were multi unit franchisees for 30 years, and these have both been long-standing policies of Subway. I also ordered an item which 'server 85' decided I didn't want/need and put it back. We were the only 2 people there yet there were dirty tables. Food was good and fresh. I suggest "spaced retraining", something we did in our corporation which was quite affective.
