whoever decided on pumping money into verandas must have been on such a big ego trip that they couldn't see the piece of junk that they were creating. brand new construction with cheap 70s fixtures, e.g. single bowl kitchen sinks, ice makers you have to manually shut off, dishwashers with a single jet. terrible waste of space, apparently to make every single unit wheel chair accessible - the kitchen is the biggest room in the already tiny unit (dumb asses) and living room so small you can only fit a single sofa or love seat and recliner (see the pic on PGHA website with love seat and recliner cramped together). there are no breaks in space, i.e., every single unit is off one continuous hall that must be about 4 football fields long, and with hard tile floors, you hear everyone going and coming so that it is more like living in a big giant dorm than an actual apartment. it is very clear that the housing director who replaced the director who built gulf breeze (a very nice public housing complex) is not as competent and probably only got their job because of...

experience so far is not been good with these people not at all they have bad attitudes I agree they are corrupt doesn't make sense or holds up to the fact that the stuff they do it does not make sense but if you feel like you've been done wrong don't hesitate you can take it up with the inspector general's office or if you have enough evidence and strong evidence you can take it up to your attorney and sue them too they're not immune to being sued they can be sued and if you're disabled the Ada you can look into it and see him too will provide attorney a whole firm to fight for you pulled over by these big non-profit organizations. and the sad part about these non-profit organizations they've had themselves with big lavish paychecks all the time it's funny how that works. this is our hard-earned tax dollars going to work for you if you want my honest opinion I think it's...

I currently live in Verandas and completely concur with greg kenny. I'd like to add though, that I do not smoke but I live in cigarette smoke about 15 hours a day from the smokers social club with about 18 members who congregate for hours on end right outside my apartment and smoke, get loud, and often also getting drunk and raise hell. Additionally, with every single apartment off of an inside hallway, I liken it to a hospital the way noise reverbarates. The management of the veradas and also the PGHA are pathetic and incompetent.
