We had no clue what end was up in regard to lighting while building our home and happen to fall into the knowledgeable hands of Jacki. And thank goodness we did because the Local Lighting Shop made a huge impact on the feel of our home. Jacki came to our house before it was even finished and quietly assessed our situation and listened to my husband and my different styles and guided us toward a happy medium. I loved the no pressure approach to picking out each fixture. It was actually fun when it could have been stressful. When one of the lights arrived I felt uncertain of it and had completely changed my mind on the direction I was going , and it was no big deal to switch. The exchange process was painless working with Jamie (another light expert who works for Jacki) and I ended up loving the new light. Fast forward, two years later, Jacki happened to stop by our house and noticed one of our outdoor lights wasn’t holding up as well to the Florida elements as she would have liked it to and insisted on getting us a new one! What service is that?! All in all they were a game changer for making our home feel super custom for a resonible cost. I would highly recommend to check them out...

When we were building our home, the lighting selection was overwhelming with countless hours spent online trying to decide which size was needed, mixing finishes, coordinating style throughout to complement and enhance, etc. I emailed them our selections thus far, then met with Jacki and Suzanne and they both put us at ease with their spot-on suggestions for the direction we wanted to go and gave us confidence and excitement in our selections. We are building a new home and had several decisions to make between lighting and ceiling fans. Kayla was exceptional at guiding us through the process, both when we met her in the store, and subsequently through numerous e-mails afterwards.
