After not having my hair cut or colored in over 3 years, I was desperately needing to find a new salon. I live in Pinckney so when Desert Rose opened, I noticed their super cute decor and the remodel that they did to the salon that was there previously. I booked an appointment with Natalie who is super sweet and easy-going. She made me feel so relaxed and right at home. The vibe inside the salon is so cute and fun. I cannot begin to explain my appreciation for all these AMAZINGLY TALENTED WOMEN. I’ve been getting my hair colored for about 5 years now - and after my appointment with Payton, I had actual tears of happiness. She listened to everything I was envisioning. During my appointment she was explaining to me the skill and technicalities of coloring hair, explaining placement is down to the shape of each clients head. I was completely blown away!!! I’ve been to both Payton and Kayla, who both are just amazing. Both of these women are not only extremely skilled, but real humans with insanely beautiful personalities. Needed an eyebrow wax since my bridal shower is tomorrow. Desperate, I walked in & asked if I could get my brows done. I was greeted with a smile & a stylist in the middle of doing her guests hair. Instead of turning me away she ran to ask if someone could still do them. Kayla came & got me, did my wax & was very personable. She was gentle with my waxing, & most importantly she didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience to her as a walk in right before she was leaving.
