Been coming to this cute and cozy small town restaurant for a few years now and it’s never disappointed. I’ve only had two issues on separate occasions and both times the manager made it right without hesitation. They definitely care about the quality of customer service and it’s truly what keeps us coming back every time. As well as the delectable and divine choices available on the menu. No matter the time of day, my family and I will stop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you’re in the mood for breakfast food at lunch or dinner, you can order it without time restrictions like some restaurants impose on their customers. Even if you wanted some dessert for breakfast, you can order it without judgment. I would highly recommend the vanilla cheesecake. I am not a fan of cheesecake in general, but this one served here is just out of this world! My personal favorite to order here is the potato soup. Just an FYI for anyone interested in trying this soup - you can only order this on Wednesdays. The second go to soup would have to be the broccoli cheddar. You cannot go wrong with these homemade soups they serve here. My teenage son raves over the lemon chicken rice and will get it every time we come here. I myself have personally enjoyed plenty of breakfast specials, the chicken strip salad with homemade ranch dressing, the turkey club sandwich, the chicken Parmesan dinner, and the “Opa” appetizer. All were delicious, looked appetizing, and served with a side of love. The prices here are fairly reasonable, especially with today’s inflation. They offer plenty of Coke products and have free refills, except on milk, chocolate milk, and apple juice. They have a huge bookshelf for anyone interested in reading while waiting for your meal to arrive. They will gladly accept book donations if you’re looking to downsize your own book collection. There is also a few televisions within the restaurant in case you would rather watch something instead of reading. And last but not least, they have a community table so you can drop off your business cards, community flyers, or pamphlets to your...
Read moreOn tuesday I called your restaurant for a carry out for a cheeseburger with lettuce tomato onion and pickles with mustard mayo and ketchup.. A order of french fries and an order of onion rings would ketchup the side.. When I arrived to pick up my food she had put it in a bag and tied it.So I didn't bother checking which I should have done before I left the restaurant.. My hamburger had no onion, no pickle. No Mayonnaise, no mustard, no ketchup. No, ketchup for the French fries and no ketchup for the onion Rings.. Basically.Got none of my sauces and not my onion and not my pickle.. On the burger.. after a hard day of work. I was starving and and so tired i just didn't have the energy to bring the cheeseburger back up to the restaurant.. I was very disappointed with my hamburger and I even gave the girl that checked me out a five dollar tip for carry out.. I guess lesson learned next time.I will cut the bag open since I had a knot in it and check my food before I leave the restaurant.. Since I couldn't depend on someone taking my order properly and tipping them.. I did call them and they just said sorry and give me 10% off my next meal.Well, I think I will try the restaurant in hell next time since I'm out.House sitting for a client and I'll be eating out.I'll give that restaurant a...
Read moreI'm usually wary of 4- or 5-star reviews of small town diners, because in my experience, all the locals go and give high reviews, and the restaurant may be quite average. I'm not exactly a local, and this place does rate quite high for a diner! Breakfast was jam-packed and there were only two servers on the floor, but they were game and kept on top of things. The huevos rancheros were delicious and looked like a picture out of a foodie magazine. Hearty portions, clean and bright, friendly staff. The only slightly less appealing factor was the omelet -- but this isn't unusual. When I was a kid, omelets were eggs folded around cheese and fillings, which is delicious. Now, all diners seem to serve "omelets" which are basically a mess of scrambled eggs with meat and veg stirred in. To me, that isn't an omelet; it's more or less a frittata (and much less appealing). I prefer a traditional omelet. That won't stop me from coming back. The menu looked good, and I look forward to trying their lunch and...
