to anyone who has never truly known Jesus Christ and followed Him, or maybe you have wondered astray, He is alive and well at Saint Marys parish in Pinckney Michigan. Father Dan Kogut has been an amazing spiritual leader for myself, my wife and children. He has an unbelievable way of being understanding, relatable, down to earth and just all around REAL. I had a great relationship with Jesus for many years, but something was missing. It turns out that the two biggest things were 1) the Blessed Sacraments and 2) a true Faith community. We have received both of those at St. Marys with the help of Father Dan, the Holy Spirit and all of our friends at Saint Mary’s Pinckney. Please go meet Father Dan and bring up this post. It would be nice to know the internet was used for some good for once in these dark days we are living in. If you have kiddos then be sure to check out Catechism and St. Marys school, the principal Veronica Kinsey is an outstanding leader and her admin Heather is the sweetest. Mike Aulette keeps the campus running in peak conditions and it is impressive these days. Thank you for reading this, May God bless you today &...
Read moreThis is a great parish. We are new to the area and I am newly Catholic. We have been searching for a parish and believe we have found it. The priest and deacons are so welcoming and the atmosphere is great. My husband loves the fact that the seating and kneelers are cushioned…for a man with bad knees, this is a major feat, as he is able to kneel to the Lord. The priest has an amazing personality and keeps even my kids engaged in the homily. He speaks clearly and passionately, with a hint of humor. The music is traditional yet fine-tuned, with an incredible singer/pianist leading musical worship. This parish seems to be the perfect fit for our family. A nice sized parish (we attend 11:30 mass) that is not too big nor too small. My hope is that my review will bring just one person to this house of God. Hope to see...

Now they have classes on Vatican II and no Latin hymns, and an announcement for Eucharistic ministers (big eye roll). Their only saving grace is a kneeler to receive communion on the tongue. They will lose families to...
