This is SUCH a great place! The Schell Family is going above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience. I visited twice last summer, towards the end of the season and the sunflowers were amazing. This year, they've added a BEAUTIFUL wildflower field and a corn maze. Great fun for all ages. I spent time at the farm in August and everything was spectacular. We returned for two visits over the Labor Day weekend, the second time with my elderly parents. Chris was so accommodating. They have recently acquired a solar panel, electric tram. My parents sat in the back row - facing the rear, and Chris motored them out to the wildflower field. They thoroughly enjoyed the view - and especially in this, the summer of Covid-19, they enjoyed the change of scenery. Chris gave us time at the wildflower field to get my parents out of the tram for a photo op - a precious memory we now have. Their maple syrup is delicious! They also have some other varieties - hickory and walnut syrup among the mix. Apple and pumpkin season is here . . . so there will be a reason for a return visit. To the Schell Family - thank you! My parents had a great time and I so appreciate you accommodating them with the tram ride. We will see...
Read moreSchell Family Farm is vast, serving the needs of many. There is a site for walking through the sunflowers and wildflowers (perfect for taking photos) and the corn maze provides just the right amount of challenge.
The stunning event barn is a spectacular setting for holding special events, inside and out. By wagon, mini bus, or walking, you can reach the private pond area, which is a perfect spot for ceremonies and other special moments.
Owners Dea and Chris take a great amount of pride and care in the farm and ensure customer satisfaction. For our daughter's wedding they were with us every step of the way to answer questions, trouble-shoot, and give suggestions and advice in order to help our event run smoothly, even through the current pandemic.
Our family (ages 6-86 years old) thoroughly enjoyed our time at Schell Family Farm, we give thanks to Dea and Chris for their time and efforts, and we highly recommend this venue...
Read moreSuch a beautiful place! We came to pick apples on a Monday afternoon. The entire farm is laid out in a way that you don't feel crowded - the lay out is brilliant. The scenery is gorgeous and I felt like I was on vacation while walking around here. The parking is very close to the barn where you can purchase the donuts and cider, ice cream, and other items. There's a great corn maze, upick pumpkins and apples and flowers, and a great playground we enjoyed too. The donuts were homemade, warm, and delicious! The cider was cold and tasty. Inside the barn they have ice cream and honeys and mums, pumpkins, and other fun things for sale. We spoke with the owner and he was down to earth, friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. He shared they have many other things to offer, like Christmas trees and peaches and plums. We will definitely be back! I highly...
